I'm so grateful to have found Famiri Designs! Fadia (owner) is not just a seamstress or alterationist, she is a DESIGNER and expert tailor -- and it certainly shows in her outstanding workmanship and level of knowledge. I had a few pieces which needed alterations that I wanted to take with me on a trip. There was only a short window of time for the work to be done, but she was able to finish all of them days earlier than expected. Her work is perfection -- she takes great care with every detail. Her knowledge of fabrics and how to properly fit a garment is exceptional. On top of that, she is one of the most delightful people you will ever meet: sweet, friendly, conversational, creative! I've been disappointed by several other businesses in the area, finding their work to be inconsistent and sometimes even having my clothing ruined! Everything about my experience with Fadia was wonderful. I contacted her with less than two weeks before my wedding to have my dress altered. Not only did she get me in on short notice, but had my dress altered and returned to me in under a week.

Fadia went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable, confidence, and beautiful for my wedding day. Due to circumstances, I had to order my dress online and didn’t get to experience the luxury of going to a bridal salon. Fadia filled this void completely with her personable yet extremely professional approach.

She took her time with me for both my initial fitting and second appointment to pick up my dress. I needed my dressed hemmed for my birthday dinner. i wanted something close to home and with good reviews. i wanted to be sure it was in good hands and would not get ruined. (this dress was quite expensive.) i was debating on going to Famiri's or another place but Famiri's had the better reviews. I think she did a wonderful l job hemming my dress for me. the first time i met her she was so sweet and wanted to know what exactly we were doing with the dress. she gave me a price which wasn't too bad alongside with why and when the dress would be completed. i dropped off the dress i believe Wednesday and she said the dress would be done within a week. she ended up getting the dress done early! she got it done within three days! as a bonus she gave me a discount off the original price and told me it was for coffee on her as a birthday gift! i did enjoy the quality and the service that she gave and i will be back for future...
