Sunset Beach Resort — Local services in Cape Charles

Nice staff, ok clean bathrooms but slick floors (no one knows how to use a mop to dry the floor, clogged toilets, don’t replace TP), nice location, beautiful scenery, only RV’d so no idea about the hotel part. They have a hard time answering the phone. You have to reserve far in advance for a good spot. The WiFi is horrible but mostly works for streaming iTunes (same for on/off season). The bar and grill is a fun hangout but only for the weekend. There are better restaurants in the area. Sites are clean but if you have dogs, you’ll spend time removing the stickers from their fur that are everywhere. Very dog friendly but the stickers make the dog park useless. Bathrooms are clean, water pressure is low. But overall worth it. 5th time, will be back.
