Great little market. They now have quite a selection of organic produce, as well as non-organic produce. The prices are pretty reasonable; milk is often on sale 2 for $5.00, and when I was there last, the yogurt was $.35.each. The frozen food section is a little pricey, but considering it's a 22-mile trip to Wal-Mart, it's not an issue paying a little extra. The meat selection is pretty good for a small store. They do not have fresh seafood, but they do have frozen seafood. The selection of juices, coffee, cereal and other packaged items is a bit limited, as is the personal care selection. They do offer hot lunch and a deli counter, which I've been told is very good. There is a counter for money orders (and perhaps Western Union, but I'm not sure). They carry greeting cards, and some auto supplies. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that I have previously gotten a package of tortillas that had a bit of mold on them. I think they have rectified this problem by relocating some items out of the way of the warmest part of the store. I do much of my shopping at Smokey's Country Market, with the exception of dog food and some bulk items; however, they recently started carrying FreshPet refrigerated pet food, which I don't believe is sold...

Not even a simple hello, grabbed my basket and slammed it on to the register belt and threw our items into the bags as if we had done something to her. While at the same time she was saying hello and smiling to customers entering the store. No thank you as we were done and I had to grab my receipt from her machine. I’m local to the area and I will more than likely never come back to this store. If you hate your job, quit! The store loses our business and we are actually wealthy so our buying power goes to...
Read moreIf you are in in town doing a tourist stop checking out all things smokey or if you're just on your way from one point to another and passing through. I definitely recommend stopping here. It's not much to look at and at first you might think boy this place could use a facelift. But then you realize how quick the service is how great the food is and that it just has that Hometown restaurant feel. We travel lots of different places and we have been here a couple times once for breakfast and once for lunch and plan on coming back a few more times before we head back home. This is a great place to stop in while you're waiting for your laundry down the...
