Hoffman Meat Processing — Local services in Cardington Township

Thought I had found a good placed an order for some needed items. I called for some items that they didn't have in-house. The person I spoke with seem a little "unsure" of what was going on, but my order was taken and confirmed; so I wasn't worried. I was given a date one-week from my call that they would have the items ready for pickup in the PM. I called at noon of the day of pickup, before driving over, to make sure the items were ready. I was told that they didn't have my items because someone forgot to order them. Although mistakes happen...I just had a bad feeling from the start about it. I needed this items for a special cook I was doing, so this basically ruined my plans and the plans of others. I'll end up getting something at the supermarket (which isn't what I like to do). Small businesses need to be on top of their game and provide excellent customer service. I should have at least received a call from them versus me finding out when I was ready to make the pickup. Anyhow...unfortunately, I won't be able to use this location again...and that too bad, because I buy a lot...

This Hometown shop Is exactly what we are looking for. The staff is very friendly Prices are fair packaging is wonderful Mike does a great job. Carla and Paige In the front of the store are always pleasant and make you feel at home. The meat is quality and we appreciate that above all, I feel like they are taking care of their customers keeping prices reasonable and quality meats . If you want to know what is in your meat if you want local meat and your butcher to take care of your order as specified this is the place for you. We enjoy shopping and interacting with Hoffman's meat producers team. Recently they have changed hands we are hoping that the new management and owner's continue with the Hoffman's reputation and Craftsmanship We shall see. I have had the opportunity to meet the new manager Dale and he is very kind and ready to be of service to his customers. Thank you ...

Took my deer for processing. Small doe not a baby. Was told they do hides. Was charged $98.60. Got back two 9 lb rolls of sausage. 3 lbs of deer sticks. That I won't get until end of February. 21 lbs. Of meat from a full grown deer is all they gave me back. Not a big deer but at least 60 lbs.of meat. Said it only hung at 50 lbs. Hide was thrown out back still bloody and fleshy. Charged me for that too. RIPPED OFF. Pretty sure thet took my deer meat. Glad somebody got to enjoy it. Highly recommend find anyone else to take your deer to. Unfriendly. Unsanitary. And a piss poor job of...
