Sleeper's here in Caribou, Maine is a hidden gem! From the outside, it doesn't look like much. Once you step inside, however, you're transported into a spectacular place that knows how to get the most out of its space. It's a grocery store with all the necessities plus has a section that includes shirts, shoes, gloves, etc. The place is well lighted and presented well. It does feel a little cramped in some corners of the place, especially if they have several customers, but overall extremely well done. I like this place a lot. Go in and one can find grocery needs ,clothing needs and the eccentric gifts ,even if the person is "hard" to shop for,THIS IS YOUR much needed stop. The people ,within the walls ,are caring workers....the cashiers greet one,the owners sit upstairs and take care of business ordering and whatever is needed,as they watch over the rest down below whom,confidently do the job at hand ...why because these individuals take the time to care. Decent selection of fresh produce. Large wine selection. Home made fudge. Various ethnic food products as well, and a bakery with a large freezer section.
