Mexico City Cuisine — Local services in Carlsbad

Mexico City Cuisine did the catering for my wedding and I cannot speak highly enough about them. Here are a few great things: They worked with me on a special diet. This was particularly amazing because what we were looking for (vegan) was far from their norm. But Leo was open minded and helpful and creative. Also, we remembered an allergy issue at the last minute and he created a special meal for that person. They were so easy to work with beforehand and very friendly the day of. Everyone we interacted with was responsive and helpful. I never felt like they had dropped the ball--which was really different from other caterers I considered. I also had several people--totally unsolicited--tell me at the wedding how friendly they were. Just so nice and helpful and great. The food was SO good. Again, so many people told me how good it was. And this was despite the fact that no one else at the wedding was vegan. The venue was so impressed by how friendly and clean they were that they asked for their information so that they could make them a preferred provider. I honestly could not recommend them...

I am local a wedding planner/coordinator, but I had to make sure to write a review for MCC. In my years of coordinating, I have worked with many different caterers, and MCC had to be the best yet! They were an absolute dream to work with. Leading up to the wedding the communication was great, and the staff was there nice and early to set up the day of. The food was great, but what really stood out was the absolutely amazing service and helpfulness of the staff. They were all so friendly and professional, and were constantly asking how they could help. From helping set up the table settings and menus, to lighting candles, to quickly and thoroughly helping with break down and clean up at the end of the night- I could not have asked for a better experience from a catering team. The bartenders did an amazing job as well! Over all, MCC will definitely be at the top of my preferred vendor list, and I highly recommend...

Wedding catering: As a Southern California local, I knew I wanted good food and with our large guest size I was looking for something that wouldn’t break the bank, so obviously, tacos. Mexico City Cuisine came highly recommended through my coordinator, our venue (River Garden Wedding & Events), and I saw them recommended several times on the facebook groups. Everything I read was spot on. Great food, great service, and they go above and beyond. We ordered the trio: tacos, fajitas, and enchiladas and every single item was 10/10. The staff was constantly walking around the venue bussing tables and refilling water where needed. They helped cleanup and load out at the end of the night and bagged up our leftovers to enjoy the next day.
