I had a 2006 GMC Canyon that needed some brake work a list of some other things calipers few other things besides just rotors and pads ended up getting a bill for $2700 $1800 labor $900 parts only to find out 14 months later they were going to have to do brakes and rotors again, but when we took off the rotors, the pads have been down to bare metal Took it in to get a second opinion the rotors they said look like they had been driven on 100,000 miles not 20,000 miles When I went to go pick up the vehicle, Lance wouldn’t even offer to bring the car up to the door for me. I wouldn’t take any vehicle there again. They were very helpful and letting me speak, but I knew there was nothing they were going to do because we were over by one month on warranty but looking at the job, the second opinion place said there is almost 100% no way that they could have done the full amount of work that they billed me for he said it looks like they replaced one side, but it was not done on the other side because of the difficulty maybe that the first one entailed , I’m making a report to the Better Business Bureau I tried to offer many times asking them to give me discount or anything and they wouldn’t do anything but replace one side of rotors and pads for 575 they said as a good will they would just charge labor to do the rotors and pads on one side that was done a year ago. The owner hardly ever comes in they said , and I hardly got a call back. The only reason I gave them one star is because at least they did listen to me,and I can be a nag , but that’s about as far as it goes. I’m sorry that I cannot give this company a good rating , I felt like when he told me my car was in the lot down the sidewalk that I was walking into a junkyard. It was one of the most worst experiences I’ve had to deal with , It’s just there are so many other companies out there that I would much rather take my vehicle too, and for those that want to give good reviews that’s great. I’m just not one of those people I felt like as much work as we had given to them with other people as well. They could’ve tried to worked with us, but those people are going elsewhere as well. I know they’ll say that there’s other conditions that could’ve caused this, that’s the second opinion place said the two rotors don’t even look the same. It just looks like they replaced one and said forget it. I’m not messing with the next one, but he said it’s. A friend had recommended them previously, but I just always went to the dealer. Today, I used them for the first time and couldn't be happier. They were honest, fair, and professionally priced. I don't feel like they overcharged me, nor do I feel like the undercharged themselves, hence professionally priced. They didn't try to push me into unnecessary repairs and I felt like my safety in my car was a priority. I have never felt so comfortable or confident after an automobile repair.

Spent nearly a grand replacing oil filter housing on vehicle. Returned a second time because issue was not solved. Later got a call asking me to pick up my vehicle saying they could not identify a problem and therefore could not fix it.
Scheduled appt with dealer who told me there was actually a second oil leak and they were surprised it was not detected by Matthews. They then replaced oil pump to fix issue and stop leak.
