My 4 year old started attending in the spring of 2022, after being a guest for one of the free “bring a buddy nights”. In just a few months he has already moved up a belt color and come out of his shy shell quite a bit. The instructors have fantastic patience with young kids and make it a fun environment. They make sure that even though the kids are following strict instructions and learning to respect their elders and peers, that they still do so in a fun manner. My son is very introverted and usually brings with him a small stuffed toy. The instructors always ask about his toy and its name to make him feel more secure before he leaves it behind and goes on the mats.
