This guy is a feminist claiming to advocate for children but he only advocates for what looks politically correct for him. He’s very unprofessional, lazy and will harass you for jaded work. Randy was an appointed GAL in my case. Ex is active duty moves all over and had some live in boyfriend that’s had questionable activity with our then 6 year old daughter. Fast forward Mr. Powers was assigned to our case and he did absolutely nothing but take moms side to the point all of the people he interviewed on my behalf called me and expressed their concerns of his lack there of. Several had even taken the day off from work just to do 5 min interviews and according to them only wanted to know dirt about my ex not the great things that could be offered to the child. He ignored all my evidence and even wrote against when there was physical proof in his recommendation to the court. Speaking of which I live in Washington State and at the time Redmond Wa, home of Microsoft, Nintendo and Space X. The school district I was in was number 1 in the state that’s already #2 in the nation with 66% of our districts graduates move on to Ivy League schools. In his report This man goes on to say it’s hard to tell if a child will do better in an environment like that. Like when have the odds been against a child to thrive in an affluent environment, but we know what they are when they’re are in the opposite and my daughter was just that. In fact, her mom had her going to school on base because the schools in her neighborhood were so low performing, but according to Randy it’s hard to tell if a child will thrive better in an environment equivalent to Beverly Hills versus an environment equivalent to South LA. But it doesn’t stop there Mr. Powers tried to make my ex’s boyfriend his star witness for my ex after this man inappropriate handled (benched pressed) our 6 year old daughter. But wouldn’t be too far fetched for a white man to cover for another white guilty or not especially when involving an African American child. But this man’s a liberal so I’m sure he has a BLM poster in his possession smh. Like what grown man does that and worse there were email exchanges between my ex and I where she admitted to having men sleeping in my daughters bed and even after showing him he still wrote in his report that it that it never happened like I previously showed him receipts via email. This man is also very cowardice to say the least. When I pointed it out to him via email he had his paralegal email my attorney stating that he wasn’t changing anything in his report. Then starts to email me about money weekly to the point I had to block him because he basically had started harassing me about money. I received more emails and bills about money than I ever talk to this guy ( he only contacted me once in my 21 month case) to the point my attorney had to send a passive aggressive email using swear words threatening to sue for a refund before he even contacted me that one time. I understand education is low in Albuquerque but this guy is either a full time incompetent with a lifetime hall pass or there’s some serious corruption going on in Albuquerque. Additionally, since Mr.Powers wants to get on here and defend himself on a google review faster than he ever worked a case. Additionally there’s no order or current case pending against me (nice to know you work for a living now). In fact my daughter isn’t even in your state anymore thank god! There was plenty of evidence you literally had your paralegal respond in your behalf but continuously emailed me about money. I showed many of my law professors your Recommendations report and were astonished to see that an educated white man wrote it, but saw where you were located and quickly digressed from further ridicule. Don’t get mad because I exposed your truth and you actually just proved my point trying to get on here and defend yourself instead of working hard for the children you work hard for what pays you the most!...

Randy Powers has to be the worst Family Lawyer ever. He doesn't call you or work with you on your case but he will charge you every time you call his office or any emails are sent even when Randy is not doing his job. Randy is a THIEF & a Liar. For me myself Randy went to court hearings with me but never did anything it was like he wasn't even there with me in court and when Randy sent Property Separation forms to the Defendants Lawyer Randy's information on the Property Separation was so far from what was agreed and said in court that there was no way the Defendant was signing or agreeing to what Randy had written up. Randy has ruin parts of my life I will never get back and Randy takes no Responsibility for his actions, All Randy continues to do is go after money for a case he FAILED At. So like I said Randy & Powers Family Law are THIEF'S AND LIARS. I would not recommend Power Family Law to anyone unless you want to Lose and Randy screw you over.. Randy is a compulsive Liar, Randy did nothing for me in court even if he says he did it's a lie. Randy was paid in full up to the point of me figuring out all his lies were not getting me anywhere in court and now I have to waste my time to take Randy to court to get back my money that he has stolen. Randy makes the word “attorney” a really positive one. He and his staff really care and it shows. Randy’s all around kindness and politeness is helpful from a client standpoint, especially when stress was high. He provided the solid, hard earned work of fighting for me and for my kids and was always there to reassure me that he would help me get what I needed. Randy was thorough and fair to both sides, even when that meant making sure I knew what was legally fair. He understands the responsibility of being an attorney and takes that into the courtroom with an even, calm, polite and persistent temperament.
