We have used trackside numerous times for our beefs and hogs. We are a regular farmer market vender and we have tried everyone else in the region who is usda. We love them for 5 reasons.
Dropped off two hogs this morning. Very easy unload. Very clean facility. Very nice people. I will update once I get the finished product.
9 days after drop off Trackside called and let me know my hogs were ready to come home. Very easy process again. They guy at the desk was extremely nice, as was everyone I met at trackside. He took time to explain the yield reports and help us load up the meat.
All products were vacuum sealed, labeled with my name, the hog it came off of, cut type, and weight.

Read moreI would not ever take hogs there again. We had the bacon and hams from two of our hogs "uncured" at Trackside using a very expensive process. They taste horrible! The ham doesn't even taste like ham and the bacon is sloppily packaged. It doesn't have a good flavor either really. The butcher was very friendly, but he really needs to rethink the way he does things. You couldn't pay me to take meat there again and I am not the kind of person to write a review let along a bad one. I just don't want anyone else to loose so much money and time to Trackside's mistakes. It was a really discouraging...
