Sam's Furniture & Appliance — Local services in Carson City

I agree, these people are rude! Especially Sam, i dont know how he's still in business! I saw his advertisement in the local newspaper that stated they buy ANY used appliance working or not, so i called and spoke with Sam, he was short and sarcastic, but said he would give me $75 for my non working frig and would be down the next day to pick it up, then abruptly hung up on me. After two weeks of waiting for this guy to pick up my frig i decided to call back again and see what the problem was and why no one showed up and to set up another time to pick up the frig, Sams helper talked to Sam and he said he wasnt giving me $75 for my frig that was to much, but would give me 50, i said fine and they said they would be down the next day, that was three weeks ago, still no show and i still have my frig! BEWARE - The owner of Sam’s Appliance created a problem with a frig I purchased for a property I manage. After selecting a used frig and paying a delivery charge, the owner got into a disagreement with the tenant and left taking the frig with him. When informed of this, I returned to Sam’s Appliance store and asked that my money be refunded. The owner said he would NOT refund my money and offered no solution to the problem. I arranged for the tenant’s friend to pick up the frig. The owner of Sam’s Appliance was rude to me, the tenant, and the tenant’s friend. He did not make this transaction easy or pleasant for anyone. This guy to very rude and unprofessional never buy from him. This place is a joke and looks so run down. My mother bought a washer and dryer from him comes with a warranty yea right. Called and asked when my mother bought the washer and dryer and he said "idk look on your invoice and said if you want me to tell you it will be a $50 dollar charge to give you this information" who says that to a paying customer?? Cant believe this guy is still in business. And the whole place looks roach infested.
