My rating is due to the pet wash service at this location. We have been driving to Rome for the Pet Wash for awhile now. We were so excited that the Cartersville location began offering Pet Wash. With two shedding dogs, it is so helpful to have this wash to avoid hair in our drain, washing towels, and drying them with my hair dryer.
We gave this location a second chance and just had a horrible experience. I paid $20 for both dogs to be washed. While the first was wet, we realized there were no towels. There were two bins of dirty towels that no one bothered to tend to. My husband asked for towels and they just gave an apology that there were none. Luckily we had a beach towel in the car that we had to use. It took us over an hour to get our dogs washed and dried and no one ever came to deal with the two bins of towels so that the next person wasn't out of luck too.
The Rome pet wash is great because it has shampoo and conditioner that comes out of the hose. This location offers large pump bottles that are very inconvenient. Additionally this tub is impossible to clean which resulted in chunks of hair left in the tubs from previous washers. The entire room was disgusting and filled with hair. Finally, I appreciate that the dryers are near the tubs in Rome so that hair doesn't fly all over the place from drying them on the table.
I expect when I pay $20 for water and soap that the place is cleaned up by the staff periodically and I absolutely expect there to be enough towels for each customer. We will make the 25 minute drive to Rome...
Read moreAwesome store to go to Friendly help short lines and have to admit is extremely nice to go into being such a hot summer they've got to keep that place at 60 degrees that's wonderful to walk into and brawls. Some of my favorite things about this store is there's things here that you can not by anywhere else and things that you can buy other places like their nuts and bolts they have a much larger selection than Lowe's or Home Depot at 1/10 the price plus they have more quantity I used my local Tractor Supply for anything from home projects working on or repairing cars motorcycles tractors trailers and much much more not to mention even their clothing they carry the best names at great prices and for such a small retail clothing area typically just the front corner of the store I could buy my whole wardrobe from that one place. Definitely recommend checking in their sales counters when you first walk in the front door they usually have large tables with lots of things on sale I know my local store even has two different areas one but near the tire section like you're headed to the restrooms and one where they keep all their trailer light kits that they put all their clearance items and mark down items you can get extremely good deals from these areas I always make sure I check these out thoroughly needless to say if I'm going to a general clothing store hardware store tool store I'm going to be at...
Read moreCustomer service was awful and seemed to be targeting me as a black customer. 3 white women were at the register when I walked in the store and the tall one came from behind the register and was walking beside me talking about how she wants to be off on Sunday for church. She then asked me what I was looking for and when told instead of just telling me where the dog food was, she follows me to the aisle. Well I can't steal a 31 pound bag of dog food and I don't steal anyway. She puts it on the buggy and follows me back to the register pretending that someone had called her for help. I was standing in line and decided to use the self check out that 2 white customers had just used and she insisted that I be checked out by either her or another lady. As I was standing in line, several white customers came in and all the ladies just spoke to them and neither one of them followed any of the white customers like they did me. I won't be giving my money to this store again! Not a good place to shop for people of color! Open...
