Dandy Pizza & Café — Restaurant in Carver

I'm really picky about my pizza and pizzeria-related food. This place is great. There's few offerings in this area that I truly like, and this is one of them. I'll admit it isn't much to look at from the outside, and I was a little hesitant to go in at first. But now I recommend the place to everyone. I've never gotten ill and I have a very very sensitive stomach.

The food is very good. Their eggplant parm is better than anyone else's around here. I get it every time. Their pizza is good too, it's more of a NY style (which I like), not the bar style you often see around here.

Give this place a try. You won't be disappointed. I've never been but I hear their breakfast offerings are equally as good as lunch and dinner. Don't let the exterior appearance...

These people are so nice and work very hard. The food Is well prepared and delicious. They are flexible to customize. They do deliver but I like to go there and order in person. Doesn't take long. I like thanking the staff people in person. Pretty sure the guy in the kitchen is the owner. I prefer supporting local family owned establishments as opposed to the franchises. I find the staff very pleasant and know they are locals. I don't get there that often, hope to in the future, nevertheless they don't forget a face. I always tip and recommend it if you can. I'm certain they depend on it and I'm grateful they survived the pandemic! It's not a true eat- in place, so not judging atmosphere, but it's very clean and they always greet you...

Update: Changing my review from 1 star to 3 and will continue to go up if it stays like this. Last few times the pizza was awesome, and subs seem to not be as empty as they used to be. Customer service has been solid too.

This place is terrible. It sucks to have a place this close to home that is this bad, we already have almost no options in carver. Employees aren’t friendly, food is crazy expensive and is barely average, while being mostly frozen.
