Robb's Electric — Local services in Carver

I had several outlets not working & called Robbs. They stated that the charge would be $150 for the first hour.

The tech came out, and fixed the problem within 15 minutes, and he said that I had some time left on my hourly charge of $150. I asked him to change some can lights, which he did, and we both agreed that he was there for 49 minutes.

I thought that I'd be charged $150, but got a bill for $215. I called them, and the lady said that the additional charges were for "travel" time and "documentation" time. IOW, I was paying for the time from when he left the shop to travel to my house, and the time he sat in his truck after the job to send in his report. Neither of these were mentioned when I made the appointment.

BEWARE: if it takes the tech 45 minutes to leave the shop, or another job, before arriving at your location, you will be charged for it. When he shows up, you'll only have 15 minutes left of your first hourly charge of $150!!

I complained when I called, and the charge was dropped to $180, which is still not the $150 that I was expecting.

The tech did good work, but I will not be using this...

Was told our hot tub was going to be delivered and called many electricians most were booked out for months I spoke with Jason on Wednesday hot tub was delivered on Thursday afternoon and they hooked up the hot tub Friday morning the price was the same as other quotes I had gotten for a scheduled install. Luke was the electrician that came out and I was very impressed with his professional and clean work I will call them again for any other electrical work...

Hired them to install electrical wiring into the living room. They responded to my voicemail within a few hours , came out to do the job within days and installed new wiring in less than 2 hours . The technician that came out was respectful and polite . He did a great job and cleaned up after himself. I was very impressed . I would definitely hire them again to do electrical work...
