As usual a door to door salesman showed up to ask me about my roof. We had just changed insurance less than a year before, so we decided to meet with Project Manager and fellow Partner Shawn Le Blanc. He was efficient, friendly, informative, and went above and beyond. When I say informative, I mean we talked about roofs to a detail that showed his passion for helping customers get the most out of their claim, and the most out of their roof in the future. Even though sales and service is the main aspect of his business, many face to face interactions with employees are not as pleasant. The most amazing parts of the experience, were his willingness to help us through the claim, his attention to detail, and how comfortable he made us feel with a very large decision in our lives at that moment.

After helping me find every spot that had been affected by our faulty roof and obtaining the max amount of insurance money for outside and INSIDE damage, the discussion on price began. We were not pushed into any decision while he was explaining the upgrades, only informed on exactly what we were getting with each option! On top of that, the contracts we signed had more understanding of day to day communication delays, especially when it comes to insurance companies and busy customers. We were not locked in immediately which gave us more peace of mind that he was working for us and not the bottom line.

Before you know it we had a date scheduled and the vans pulled up to the house, I felt like I didn't have to lift a finger. It was over before we knew it. It was one day of efficient, quality work that looked like a tornado had actually ripped our roof off the house. Then the next day, the roof looked perfect, the house looked 15 years newer, and the mess was no where to be seen. His team was friendly, quick, and focused on clean quality work.

He also helped us with the gutters that we wanted to replace, which had the exact same story, efficient, friendly, beautiful, and clean! He then put is in touch with painters who have not set a date, but have done amazing work and the price is too good to pass up. It is not always about what you know, but usually about who you know, and we were happy to know Shawn and happy he knew some amazing workers!

I can’t say enough about the wonderful level of service I received with Nik Harris and Kevin May of PRG and my recent 3/18/22 roof replacement. Nik Harris and Kevin May met with me a couple of months prior to that to offer a way to get my roof replaced for minimal out of pocket expense. They explained the situation thoroughly, set up the claim with the insurance company. I never felt ANY type of pressure from them when I back out of /cancelled the 1st claim because of my perception that I wouldn’t be able to find subsequent insurance with a new carrier (I had been dropped by my current insurance group because they were no longer writing policies in NC) what with a pending claim on my policy. Kevin and Nick were very gracious and helpful in explaining that any carrier I spoke with would be happy that they would be insuring a property with a new roof. Kevin also said that even though an insurance company is dropping me, they are obligated to cover claims that occurred when coverage was in place. Kevin and Nik were there for me when I called to RE initiate a 2nd claim. They are very experienced in navigating the insurance claim process for home owners. Nik and Kevin even came to the hotel I had to stay at when I contracted Covid to sign paper work for the 2nd claim. Kevin and Nik took time to meet with the adjuster from my insurance company. They made sure all the exterior damage on the roof and the interior water damage was addressed with the adjuster. Nik and Kevin always were very quick to answer any texts and phone calls I made to them. They always listen to my concerns and explain the process. The roof replacement of my house AND both sheds took less than a full day to complete. The roofing crew cleaned up the shingle debris and left my property in the same condition as they found it. They used a magnet to get any nails they may have visibly missed. I currently await the repairs to the interior before signing over the last check from my insurance. I highly recommend discussing your roof replacement project with Kevin and Nik. They take the headache of wrangling with insurance companies out of your hands and take it upon themselves. I had the privilege of stumbling across Shawn and did not know until we started chatting what type of business he was involved in. I told him about my roof issues and immediately my problem became Shawn’s. He came out the next day and did a roof inspection and then filed a claim with my insurance company for me. Once I was contacted by the adjuster, a meeting was scheduled and Shawn was present for that meeting and asked/answered all the questions for us. In less than 10 minutes he had a new roof approved for us.

Next we meet with Shawn and looked at all of our options. Shawn answered all our questions and even had pictures available so we could see some of the possibilities we were interested in. Once we made all the choices Shawn took care of getting the materials and having them delivered to our home for the build.

“Build day” arrived and Shawn was there from the onset. The roofing crew was there bright and early as well. They covered all my shrubbery around the entire house and starting working. This crew worked non stop like I have never seen before. Also, it was over 95 degrees that day as well. The roofing crew finally stopped for maybe 30 mins for lunch and was right back at it. By the time the sun went down that evening I had a beautiful new roof and a spotless yard free from all debris and roofing nails from the old roof.
