Yo2 Nail Bar — Local services in Cary

I deleted my first review- as the owner would only give refund if i promised I would. I am submitting another review as I had terribly poor service. Please know I am not harsh and difficult being a business owner, i understand the need for fairness and understanding and sobriety. I have too say this Salon is by far the worst I've ever experienced, as it relates to skill and customer service. I arrived 5:30pm for Mani/Pedi and out the door by 6:15pm I did feel it was rushed but just allowed to complete job. I left feeling it wasn't a good job, and the next morning clear coat nails began to chip, as well as I could feel pointed corners on nails as well as uneven nail. Really looked bad. Next morning 9:30 (business open) I returned to shop and nicely asked for a refund showing clearly poor quality of work. I was immediately YELLED at by the owner -Amy --and told I was not getting my refund. After little exchange she threatened to call the Police. I stated I would not leave until receiving refund. I was only asking for refund for Maincure-- NOT refund Pedi or tip. After 20 mins and client encouraging her to make this right...she wiped the clear coat off my fingers (petty) and refunded 15.00. I thanked her and left. So sad... can not, will not recommend. Please SAVE YOUR TIME and MONEY.. and to top things off if you're not happy, there will be no recourse. SO SAD made for a bad start to...

Absolutely love this nail bar! I drive from Durham to Cary to have my nails done because the service is impeccable! Ava is my go to nail tech and I actually followed her to this nail salon from her previous one because she's just that good! I sometimes bring my young daughter with me and they all gush over here which makes her nail day extra special! They specialize in Gel X nails which I love because they keep your natural nails healthier. The quality of work is always great and I can 4-5 weeks with no breaks and the nails still look beautiful. I'm regularly complemented on how well my nails look even after weeks. They recently update all of their equipment and it's lovely inside! Parking is also really great at their location.
