I recently had one of the most frustrating experiences trying to get a refund for an item I purchased. The product, which was already overpriced, turned out to be defective, and returning it became an absolute nightmare.
It first started with an email to canteen accounting coordinator Elianna Carroz who informed me that I would need to submit Proof of the surge charge for an item that cost 1$ but was charged 50$ for it. To my surprise, my request was rejected. The reason? "Insufficient documentation." I double-checked everything I submitted, and it was clear that I had followed all their instructions precisely. After reaching out again, I was told to provide additional photos of the product—photos I had already included. By this point, I was already frustrated, but I sent them again, hoping this would be the end of it. Then came the wait. It took another week of back-and-forth emails, constantly being told "we're processing your request" or "we'll get back to you soon." Each time I contacted them, I received generic responses that seemed automated. No matter how much I escalated the issue, there was no urgency or effort to resolve the situation promptly.
After two weeks of back and forth still haven’t gotten my refund and decided to contact my bank to resolve this matter.
Not only were the products overpriced to begin with, but their lack of customer service made it clear that they don’t value their customers at all but only care about taking your money. I will never buy...
