Douglas County Fairgrounds Fields 5 & 6 — Local services in Castle Rock

Douglas County Fairgrounds has a lot of things to offer. It's a nice area!

Soccer fields 5 & 6 are made of turf and well maintained. Nice clean lines. The pitch is a little short for an 11v11 game, but it works. The space between the fields is really small. Teams are on top of each other during games. Parents set up outside the fields on the hilly grass areas.

These recreational fields would be better if there were real bathrooms. Instead, they have port-a-potty's.

I like the natural hills and rock steps. The pathways are well maintained.

Leashes dogs are allowed, except for the turf areas.

I grew up coming here, catching toads and snakes down by the small creek. It's always crazy to see how much it has changed, but mostly for the better. They have installed new sensor operated trash cans, provide dog waste bags, the dog park is cute and often busy. They maintain the fields and the parking lot really well. They've upkept the playgrounds and always change them out after every few years. super...
