I’ve been going to Studio One Seven Salon for a few years now and I’ll never go anywhere else. All of the stylists here are amazing at their craft and I know I’m always in great hands (literally). I’ve more recently had my color done with Mandy. It’s been an ongoing process over 5 months of taking me from a navy blue, to brown, to bronde, and finally to a beachy blonde. Of course, I decided to go to a vivid color and we did a rose-gold/blush pink moment yesterday and I LOVE IT. Mandy is an expert in color and her expertise shines through every appointment. She really listened to my requests and always provides her professional suggestions with the best intention for my hair. True Talent right here in Castro Valley! Alex, the owner, is truly an artist. Not only is she a talented stylist and colorist, she has the most genuine, friendly, & welcoming personality. Each station feels private, even though the salon has an open concept. Patrons are offered a snack, latte, or tea (made to order) & immediately made to feel welcomed. I absolutely love this salon! I’ve been coming here for almost 3 years. Lee is amazing at what she does - she does my highlights beautifully and cuts my hair perfectly. She listens to what I’m wanting to do with my hair and makes suggestions that always turn out positively! The salon is clean, welcoming, and adorably decorated.
