If I could give a negative amount of stars I would. I wanted to get a Real ID and since I recently changed my name I had all of the documents I needed. The first lady for some reason wasn't able to understand that the item I had was a court ORDER from the judge saying that my request was approved for the name change. I then presented her with more resources to further prove my identity. This first lady asks a second lady to come help with the situation because she was not understanding that the item was still the court ORDER. Both ladies then told me that they had another name change request for an ID, so they went and grabbed the request from another person, but that one was denied. They weren't understanding that the court clerk had stamped mine and it was signed by the judge making it a legal document. I then presented my birth certificate. They both kept handing it back and forth until the second lady told me that since she and I quote, "can't see the light through the paper," that I needed a different birth certificate. I did not bring them a copy, it was my original birth certificate. The stamp was raised as it should be because it is a real document. I was then presented with information to the vital records in Oklahoma because they were dissatisfied with my birth certificate. Long story short, I did not...
Read moreNew building. Nice and clean. Chairs cery comfortable. Staff was very nice. There were 3 staff there but only 1 of them was doing the information input to get new license/tag, etc. The other staff answer the phone and put people on the waiting list when they enter. They seem to be working on their computers but Idk what they're doing. There must be some reason that I dont understand why all 3 aren't taking customers. They gave me an estimated wait time of 50 minutes, and that every person takes about 15 minutes. I ended up waiting 45 minutes total, and I was curious and began timing how long each customer took. The shortest was 10 minutes, the longest was about 20. It costs $25 to update liscese to the Real ID. It costs extra to use a card. My total was $27 something. The place where they take your picture/documents and update your info is in the same room as the people waiting. I could hear everyone's personal information such as names, contact names and phone numbers, weight, and height. They have you write your social security number on a sticky note, so at least that info is discreet.
I would come here again based on the upfront and accurate wait time, and the niceness...
Read moreWho knew that getting a tag and a new license could be so pleasant and enjoyable!?! Whatever misery you equate with this process- put it out of your mind. This newly formated experience was awesome. I was transferring some out of state cars and IDs and honestly it took the staff through the ringer (blame Texas lol) z they were so patient, so kind, solution oriented- they got us totally squared away. I live in South Tulsa and this is the ONLY agency...
