2024 update: Our visit this time was much improved from last time. The parking was reasonable, the line not nearly as long, and there were much fewer physically challenging parts of the experience. I was a little upset that the food truck had closed by the time we got out, because my entire party had been talking about and looking forward to getting drinks there afterwards, but I understand they can't stay open as late as the haunted house does. I particularly enjoyed the outdoor maze, which left us laughing as we kept going in circles, running into each other, and ending up at the same entrance we went through.
2022: Now this might just be because we went the day before Halloween, but... their parking situation was horrific, people parking in grass and dirt patches with no rhyme or reason, blocking each other in, over hills and holes. It's a miracle we didn't get in any fender benders. The line was very very long, packed like sardines in a tent with a movie that had ended and was looping on the menu screen, inching along for HOURS. I had to go to the bathroom and there were TWO porta potties for hundreds of people... they didnt have toilet paper or hand santizer, in the middle of a pandemic, with a wet toilet seat. When I told staff about it, I was told they don't care and won't replenish any bathroom supplies. I was told about a gas station down the road and went uphill in the cold, dark night, only to see there wasnt one in sight from the top of the hill. No other establishments in the area were open. I went back in line... the actual haunted house was mediocre compared to others I had been to. You're forced to crawl on your hands and knees and walk through pitch black darkness, so don't go if you're physically disabled or don't want to run...

After it went on for about 5 minutes too long as we progressed i tried a few times to get them to leave her alone as politely as i could and they literally kept telling me to âback up buddyâ
The last time they did this, they gave her a 3 second head start to run away down a hallway
I get its supposed to be scary, but my sister was continually targeted by some of the actors and it bordered on sexual harrassment. If it had gone a minute longer iâd have had to do their âi quit the rideâ signal and tell em off.
In conclusion: super uncomfortable for the three of us that went. The makeup and costumes werent bad, but i thought its supposed to be asylum themed, not clowns and circus?
Wont be going back or recommending anyone. The price wasnt worth the crappy experience (not to be harsh, just being honest)
There WAS a cool guy dressed as slenderman outside the building that gave us a hug and danced for some little kids. Practically the only good part of the whole experience. Costume/makeup with that guy...
Read moreThe house was fantastic. I took my 12yo niece and 13yo friend on Saturday, Oct 23rd at 9pm. We paid the extra $10 for the fast pass. We waited about 30 mins but it looked like general admission was about 1.5 hours or longer. I am not sure why others marked down for wait time. Popular houses have a min 1-2 hour wait for general admission. I am an avid haunted houser and have been to Universal Studios Halloween Horror several times. I was impressed with the actors and overall length and variety of scenes. They try to space you out enough so everyone will enjoy a scare at some point in the house. There is one spot where you have to crawl. They probably had it posted but I didn't see the notice ahead of time. The tweens had everyone behind us cracking up ... They screamed and avoided the entire way through what seemed like 25 mins of horror. Not for kids that are too timid. I felt very safe the entire time with dozens of actors and night vision cameras throughout the house. I always felt like we had help to leave if nessesary. Just wish they sold video clips or screen shots of guests screaming... ! Bravo to the...
