So, we initially had good experiences, until a few years into our home. We went to go change our faucet in our kitchen and found that the sink was was either placed too close to the the faucet hole or the faucet hole was cut too close to the sink. Now keep in mind, the sink was also purchased through Granite connection so they installed both the counter and sink. Well, a few years into our home we go to replace the faucet and thats when we found this issue. Part of the responsibility is also on the plumber as they cut corners to Jimmy rig it and make it work and didn’t notify granite connection of the problem. So, I was thus unable to change my faucet without modifying or changing the included parts of any faucet. We had our builder reach out to granite connection and their response was that they could come elongate the hole (in my mind this isn’t an option as I’d then run the risk of the faucet not sealing properly) and charge us for their mistake of placing either the hole or sink too close, or to call the plumber as they were able to make it work. All I was hoping was the ability to move the sink forward 1/4 of an inch. Keep in mind as well, the plumber also cut corners so reaching out to then wasn’t going to be an option because with the faucet we had purchased, moving the sink was going to have to be an option.
I do understand, know and acknowledge that we were technically out of our warranty, but this is something that NEVER would have been found until I needed to change the faucet.
If you use granite connection, check under the counters, around sinks, check your corners as well for any sharp edges that weren’t properly done for any future problems that may arise and do it within the first year of...
Read moreAfter about a year of headache with the granite countertops they installed they came back and completely remade all of the Granite countertops in the kitchen. It looks and functions tons better now. Sometimes mistakes happen and products don't work out perfectly. For me, It is all about how the company handles mistakes. Bruce, the owner, came out to our house several times personally and was very nice and easy to work with. He took a big hit on my kitchen having to remake all of the granite but took it with dignity and made it right. google wont let me take down the old pictures to put the new ones up but it...
