Buyer BEWARE! You can't make this UP!! If you buy plants/flowers from this shop beware. My daughter bought me flowers for Valentines Day to be delivered to my office and they arrived dead. I sent her a photo and they were not the flowers she ordered. They were a $60 flowers and the ones she ordered were $115. She would never have known if I didn't send her the picture. I called Pierson's and explained what happened and that I would appreciate if she got some kind of compensation back for the situation. He said no we don't do that he would send the right flowers today. I responded that she wanted the flowers for me on Valentines Day not today and not only were they dead but the wrong flowers. I was extremely professional in explaining why I felt she deserved something back. He said, "can I talk now?" I said of course. He said absolutely not and basically hung up on me. THEN he calls my daughter who is at work, three times until she picks up and tells her I am mean. I still cannot believe a business owner did that. She responds not only am I not mean, but she knows I would only talk in a professional manner because I am a good person. A mother who cares about her daughter and felt she was being taken advantage of. He then hung up on her. The situation was handled as bad as customer service can get. I am only writing this review because when you get dead dried up $60 flowers and should have gotten $115 flowers on a special day, something should be done. Poor customer service. I purchased a rose bush last year and it died. I took it in (to the Ellis Blvd location) to ask them why it died, and if I did something wrong. A gentleman was called over to help me, possibly the manager? (apparently the three woman standing there, couldn't). He informed me that I did not plant it deep enough. Then asked me if I wanted him to dispose of the dead one. "Ok". When I asked if they had the same plant, he directed me outside, and told me they were along the fence, in alphabetical order. No offer for a discount. No offer to help me find a replacement. I walked out into the yard, looked around, didn't "see" my plant and left. I was very disappointed with their service. Looked very promising at first unfortunately i noticed how thinned out the cuttings/ propigated small plants were and the price they are wanting in general for most of these sad little plants is just insane. I had a grass plant that had a 7.99 yellow tag on it and when I went to check out it was actually going to be 14.99 which was the price of the plants that were actually full and looked somewhat better so I guess they don't discount plants that are looking pretty sad so I decided not to get it and I probably won't come here again or recommend them to anybody. also a lot of the tropical plants that they had have a lot of brown spots yellowing probably some sort of disease so I would so I would check when picking out any type of tropical or just any plant in...
