Horrible experience with hair and nails!! I had gel nail polish applied and within 48 hours I lost 3 nails and more were actually soft and peeling off. I can say when I called they allowed me to come back in and redid them, which I was then told I wasn't the first person that had to return!!! Why allow a tech that isn't doing nails properly to continue?? I also had my hair highlighted. I'm new to the area and was looking for a new salon. I've been seeing my stylist back home for over 15 years and never ever had a problem so this wasn't a new color experience for me. When the stylist rinsed she started using toner, I told her I never needed toner in the past, she said they use it on everyone (they also charge extra) I asked her why and what was the purpose she said "I don't know, we just use it on everyone." She didn't style my hair at all!!! I don't expect anything elaborate but typically you walk out of a salon with your hair styled looking and feeling nice. I even showed her photos from my previous stylist so she could see my cut and style. When I washed my hair the next day and combed my hair to straighten, my roots which were over an inch dark remained as if they were never touched. I was out of town and called 3 days after having my hair colored, I had to wait for a manager to call me back. When she did she offered for me to come in and consult with the stylist. I was out of town and had to wait until I returned to return to the salon over a week later. Upon returning and consulting with the stylist she acted like nothing was wrong. I explained and showed where all my roots still showed the same as they had when I came in. She suggested doing some sort of different coloring on my roots only which would have made my hair look even worse (my roots would have been a totally different color than the rest of my hair and my roots wouldn't have been highlighted). When I explained I had highlights and slathering color on all my roots not coloring just the highlights would not fix my hair, she then stated I was 10 days out and that my roots were the result of hair growth (over an inch of hair growth in 10 days!!!) At that point I ended our conversation and asked to speak with a manager. I was told Alex the manager I previously spoke with would call me. No one ever called me back, I tried multiple times calling the salon but was put on hold 10+ minutes everytime, I called multiple times multiple days, always put in hold. Obviously they weren't going to talk to me or make things right. I was out 250.00 PLUS tip for nailsx2 plus hair. I returned to my old stylist almost 3 hours away. She was shocked when she looked at my hair. She said there was no visible pattern to the highlights that were attempted and said the amount of bleeding was awful, even she couldn't figure out what the stylist had done. She also told me there was no reason to use toner on my hair. I don't know if I had a new stylist but if so she should have had a senior stylist mentoring her. I've never had such a horrible experience. Additionally they didn't tell me the haircut was Additional to my coloring. I paid without complaint but felt 250.00 was extremely high for highlights, cut with no style, and nails. You don't get what you pay for here. Save your money, gas, and time go anywhere else. I was extremely disappointed in services, I even offered to send photos of my roots, they didn't want that, only offered for me to come in when I returned to town and then tried to say I was 10 days out hair doesn't grow that fast, a reputable business will do what they can to make things right. Highly disappointed, I'd give less than one star if possible.

I would rate my experience at Prima Capelli a ZERO.

Extremely disappointed with my experience. The stylist was not experienced or not trained.. I booked an appointment, and verified by email with a personal photo of my exact hair style, I also called to confirm that the stylist I was booked with knew how to do straight blow outs...I was told yes she does.

Before my haircut she parted my hair and the part was sideways-not straight. I had to ask for a comb and part it myself. Then I asked her if the part was straight and she said "I don't know- it's YOUR hair"

During my haircut, she did not section it off the way a professional does. For my straight blow out, she did not section it off, she started drying it on the top layer, and didn't have the correct tool on the blow dryer, and waved the blow dryer all over my head-turning my hair into a huge frizzy mess. Then for flat ironing... She never put a heat protectant product in my hair before she flat ironed it. Again- didn't section my hair off like a professional would.

You know when a stylist CARES-about getting it right for the client, and it's obvious when they don't care!

And the color match on my roots isn't correct-you can see the strip of 2 different colors, roots are showing through.

I left the salon with my hair looking like a shaggy frizzy mess, not feeling good (the way you SHOULD FEEL after getting your hair done)...

I made an appointment for a lash tint and lift about 4 months before my upcoming vacation. About a week before my appointment I was called and asked to have my appointment pushed back an extra half hour. I agreed even though it wasn't the best for my schedule. On the day of my appointment I was called again and told the technician's appointment before me cancelled and I could come in early.

After I left for the new appointment time, I was called again and told that the cancelled appointment had showed up late and that they were given their time slot back. I then had to wait another hour before I could be seen. I sat for another 15 minutes on top of that hour in the waiting room.

I didnt have time to wait and I was concerned because it was 7:45 and the salon closed at 8:30. I didnt want to make someone have to stay late or have a rushed service.

The receptionist was very kind, understanding and professional, she was the only positive part of this experience.

I'm so dissapointed because I have never had this service done and I was really hoping it would turn out well, but I dont think I'd ever attempt to make an appointment here again because they gave preferred treatment to someone who cancelled their appointment...
