We are so thrilled with choosing the Linn County Fairgrounds for our wedding reception venue. We used the Lynn Dunn Memorial building. This beautiful, blank slate of a building is just perfect. It’s affordable. The amenities provided are unmatched. The staff is friendly and helpful. Our event couldn’t have gone better!

Great facilities and events scheduled during the Linn County Fair. Plenty of activities that appeal to different age groups. Nice job to the board for the organization of the Linn Co Fair and other events here throughout the year.

Great area! The grounds are wonderful, and the building to host events/parties was impeccable! If your going to be there for awhile with young kids bring some activities for them to do outside to help keep them entertained!

We went to the Linn County Fair with friends to watch the tractor pull. There was the typical fair amusement rides but we didn't ride anything. Of course, we had to enjoyed some of the fair food. I tried Papa's BBQ Loaded mac and cheese bowl. There was mac and cheese with pulled pork on top and topping with barbecue sauce. It was good. I would have like to have extra cheese sauce added. Then of course who could not pass up a funnel cake. Yep, so good. There was a choice of speciality funnel cakes, but I choice plain with powdered sugar. Jim had a tenderloin from another stand. It was the real deal and not a pork fritter like another concession stand serves.

Parking was a bit of a problem only because we were getting alot of rain so some of the fields and gravel parking lots were a mess.

The rain delayed the pull for about an hour but they were able to get the track back in shape to continue on. While we were waiting, they went ahead and shot off the fireworks display instead of waiting for the end. We all enjoyed the final song, Lee Greenwood's Proud to be an American. Our section in the grandstand sang along...

Never attended affair here, but the grounds are very accessible for disabled individuals like myself, along with plentiful parking and plenty of room for a variety of events. The layout is perfect for large scale events that may need a separate room for catering or for behind the scenes preparation. The facilities are clean, well built, and are...
