As a lover of cookie cakes, I was having a hard time finding one in Cedar Rapids. The options are slim to none for a cookie cake lover around here. I stumbled upon Sweetopia, and I had no idea they were in Lindale mall. Looking at their site I saw that they had cookie cakes and good reviews. I thought why not? Ordered a cookie cake, and surprisingly they had an extra and could make it that day. Usually you should call ahead but I just asked for whatever design they could make. They can make really elaborate or personal designs too. They said they did a Stranger Things themed cookie cake recently too. Anyways, their cookie cakes are very reasonably priced and large (12 in.) as well as super thick. The frosting is amazing and the cake was amazing. They were really nice too, very upbeat people! Would recommend to anyone. Looking at their other cakes and cookies too, and their designs, they seem to be very artistic, and of course yummy. My new go to cookie cake, and...
Read moreEXCELLENT! Ordered this for the first time based on reviews, looking at the options on the website compared to other cupcake places in the area, and cost and was not disappointed. The cost is very reasonable compared to other places which was great. The cupcakes were so moist and The flavors awesome! Also got the cake pops which were good as well. I needed an order for a quick turn around so I didn’t get to try some of the more unique flavors but they did a great job getting my order filled same day and I will definitely be back to order more! The staff was very friendly and although they seemed busy they were very accommodating. I did order online and called right after which worked out because they initially did not see my order so would recommend calling to verify since their website ordering is in transition right now but otherwise...

The worker I talked to was nice. He did his best to answer any questions I had about some of their chocolates (barring any trade secrets).
Just a heads up, the chocolates don’t come cheap. Individual pieces are $2.50. Buy at least four to get some kind of deal; this is definitely a once-in-a-while treat. But given how fancy some of their chocolates look and some of the flavors, it makes sense they cost a pretty penny.
That being said, I found the Blood Orange Dark Chocolates to be excellent. Same with the White Chocolate Lime Cheesecake (at least I think that’s the name, it definitely has lime flavor).
It’ll be a while before I return due to prices but the service and quality of their chocolates would...
