Brooksie's Propane — Local services in Chandler

Needed a new propane tank so I found this place online and just down the freeway. Always want to shop local vice the super chains so went out of my way to come here. Had a great variety of smokers and grills, didn't really look at prices to compare but the egg's are going to cost no matter where you go. Picked up some injection for the pork butt I'm going to do and when everything was totaled I asked if they offered a military discount. Kid behind the counter said nope so I asked if I could take their "Stand behind our military and if not then stand in front" shirt off the wall. He said it was the owners decision to not give discounts.....I'm not a give me a discount every time every where guy but if you flaunt support the military in your store I presume you offer a little discount. Def go here if you like to get ignored and dismissed. I called ahead to confirm that they sold propane. Confirmed that I would be there in 30 min. I pulled in to the only logical place to get propane hooked up. The guy just sat outside and watched me walking all around to find the entrance. He told me I had to turn my car around. Maybe he was right but he had a damned long hose and didn’t even try to see how close we were. I certainly had space to pull in further. Then another truck rolls in and the guy decides to fill his 2 5 gal tanks first. I told him that my tank was only a 5 gal tank and I only had one and further it was only partially empty. Drive up with 2-100lb propane tanks. The first guy was super nice and attentive but climbed in the back of my new truck like it was some ranch truck and didn't seem to care about damaging the paint with his boots. The second guy was an older guy with gray hair. As soon as we pulled up he asked where the caps were for the tank, but with a bad attitude. When I told him the tanks didn't have caps he said he couldn't fill it cause there were no caps for transport. He said it a few times.... That's understandable but never offered to sell me caps or do a tank swap just wanted to be rude. I'll never go back here. Went down the road and got new caps and the tanks filled with no problem.
