I received a call from a representative named Josh indicating the music system that I purchased back in December 2016 qualified for a discount. He left a 800 number to call back. I returned the call and after waiting for about 15 minutes, the representative who happened to be Josh answered. He told me that I wasn't given the discount for the music system and said that he would be crediting my credit card for the discount amount of $22. As i was about to ask if there was a catch to all of this (as I am aware of the yearly membership and fee) he just hung up the phone. I was going to call back but decided to wait and monitor my credit card activity on-line. Lo and behold, there was a charge for $29.99! I then called back the 800 and when I got connected, I spoke to a person named Jeremy. As I was explaining to him about my telphone call and conversation with Josh, Jeremy became very defensive and he literally raised his voice and rudely said, "Okay, just giv me your Name and Customer Number". To make a long story short, this was was an A$$!!! I will no longer do business with this company and I will urge anyone not to either because they are a SCAM and the people are not only rude but very sneaky...no wonder Joh=sh hung up so quickly because he did not want me to question him on the membership and then submitted the charge immediately...
Read moreWarning!!!Like others here, I gave only 1 star as 0 stars will not post Warning ! Buyer Beware !I have been a customer for many years. I have owned my own business for 45 years, so I know something about customer service. I ordered an antenna from Heartland that I did not receive. The tracking had listed that I had received it. I emailed and called Heartland to notify them that still, no antenna. As I live in a rural area, I really wanted it. I had suggested they send me another and one gentleman said that they would, and when the tracking would get sorted, everyone would be happy. When I called to check on the status, I got a man ? having a bad day. He told me that they would not do any thing for 8 to 10 weeks! I told him of many companies that I had dealt with in the past that would sort this out in 5 minutes, as I would in my (mail order )business. As he was Very rude, I asked to speak to a supervisor or his manager. He simply hung up on me. If anyone at Heartland that doesn't want to lose an old customer gives a care and wants to find out who the "customer service" person is that is rude and hangs up on good long term clients, my customer no is...
Read moreMore than a week ago, I received a package from Heartland America. The only thing is, I didn't order the item, even though the paperwork had my name, address, and other personal information. It also showed my phone number from another state where I have not lived in more than 20 years. The package was $155.54, and I was billed the outstanding balance of $10.90. I don't know who paid for most of the original order, but I did not. Now I'm having trouble giving the merchandise back to Heartland. They've said I have to wait another week for a return label--10 business days. Someone wants his/her package, and I do not want it. This seems like very bad service to me. The customer service rep says everything about the order shows that it is mine. If it said something else we would "have a different conversation." What I want to know is why can't I get rid of this merchandise I did not order and have tried twice to give back? I did not order it or pay for any of it--someone did and they want what...
