This was easily my worst hair braiding experience. Do not waste your time or money going here. My hair looks a mess and the customer service was horrible.

Three people worked on my head altogether and my head shows it. The parts are all different sizes. The ones down the front middle are skinny while the front sides are large and the back is huge. The parts aren’t clean and some aren’t even boxes but instead rhombuses and triangles. The ends of the hair are see through, dry, and wispy from an uneven amounts of hair used and how it was dipped at the end. They did not separate the human hair from the synthetic during this step. There is no way to style this hair to hide the imperfections and it had to be taken out.

When I arrived, the braider/owner I booked was not available and I had to wait on my braided to arrive. Then the owner tried to switch me to a smaller size than what I booked online based off a hanger with braids that represented how much of your hair would be used. This was very confusing. While in the chair, two different people tried to blow dry my hair - no heat protectant - even though I blew my hair out the night before. I asked one of the braiders to use a larger tooth comb to do a quick detangle after taking down the big braids I put my hair in and they refused. They charged $60 more to put the boho hair in. The boho hair is sliding out of the braids and the pieces that are left have extremely thick bases as they weren’t fed into the braid properly. They asked me to part my hair down the middle because they were unable to get a clean part to the crown. They parted my hair from ear to ear instead of using a braiding/grid pattern. This led to slanted and non-box sections along the crown. Once done, they tried to charge me almost $200 more than what we originally agreed on.

I reached out to owner to clarify price and share my dissatisfaction but they ignored me. Once I got in touch with them, they were extremely rude. I asked them to take the hair down or fix their employees poor performance but...

Please be aware of this place. Had the worst experience. I Booked through boosky to get my hair done. Half way in she said to me if you don’t like it let me know and I will cut it out and take the loss. I thought that was odd but I just wanted to get done since I had already started. After completing the hair, paying and leaving I received a phone call over an hour later from prisca saying the amount she charged was not correct and I owed her $52. She said the website price had a 20 % discount and she was removing the discount because I was a few minutes late and that I needed cash app her. I told her I was driving and couldn’t do anything right now. I received several calls from the lady about needing her money within an hour period. She then proceeded to threaten to call the police on me and pull my Facebook picture sending me threatening messages for so call $52 extra after already paying $408. It is not worth it to go here. Please find a reputable place to get your hair done. Do Not book here! The hair is not as neat as it appears on instagram! I am extremely disappointed!

Let’s be clear I am a career woman who can afford to pay for whatever I book, that was not a concern. Please do your research. You gave me my total and I paid you then you proceeded to call almost 2 hours after with additional charge. I paid you exactly what you advertised! And was kind enough to pay the extra. I just want to warn people, it’s not ok to harass and threaten someone over what you advertise or your own mistake. Don’t flatter yourself you may be able to braid but it is far from what it...

I usually never right reviews especially with this bring a black owned business but I feel like I have too. To start off When I messaged the owner of the store inquiring about getting twist done I asked for the price and she quoted me $200. I said is it OK if I go out and buy my own hair she said yes and told me what hair to get and I sent her a picture of that hair. She said that the hair was correct and that we were good to go on the service. However once I arrived at the shop I not only waited 30 minutes when she saw the hair she stated that I got the wrong hair and that I was going to have to pay more. When I told her that this was the hair that she told me to get and I showed her the text messages she said still can’t use it. I can get over that but what I can’t get over is how unsanitary the shop is. They were passing around the blow dryer in between clients without disinfecting it, hair was hanging outside of the drawers not packaged, and the real ticker was there was a little bugs crawling around the shop. Was my hair done nice yes but I just can’t overlook the issues that come...

This is the first time I have visited this salon. The staff was very accommodating as far as being able to get me in quickly for a last minute appointment . However, I am not satisfied with the quality of the braids I received. At first glance the braids don’t look bad but my natural hair is unraveling from the braids and the boho hair is sliding out of almost every braid. With the boho knotless braids you have to go through and detangle the strands to ensure the style remains neat and curly. It’s impossible for me to do so without losing hair. I paid $360 for the braids and then I had to buy the boho hair which was $75 per pack (I bought 2 per her request). Today makes 2 weeks that I’ve had these braids and I had to go out and buy another pack of boho hair to crochet into the braids because I have lost so many strands. I spent entirely too much money on this style for it not to even last 2 weeks. I will not be retuning in the future.

Although my husband was very upset that we waited for an hour due to an emergency with the owner getting her daughter to school, the knotless braids look amazing. On top of that they were done in 3 hours and my natural hair is waist length by the way. We were very pleased with how nice my hair turned out and I’ve been getting compliments all day from strangers. I appreciate her for apologizing because things happen. I will say this shop is pricey so be prepared to spend over $200, but I am happy with my knotless braids. I pray that the owner is able to get a website to make booking easier and prices listed so that it isn’t a surprise when you get there.
