I drove 40 minutes with my 3y old toddler play here. When we arrived we noticed there was no AC and only 1 ceiling fan running. It was very uncomfortable. My son didn’t mind so I was willing to stay until he was ready to leave. He is autistic and very hot wheels obsessed. He brings 2 little cars everywhere we go. I explained when we got there that he couldn’t have his cars on the play ground and that I would hold onto them. We stayed about 45 minutes until my son expressed wanting a snack. I explained there are no food or drinks allowed but we could head to the car and have a snack there before heading home. We put on our shoes and when I bent over to help him Velcro the straps on his shoes- his hot wheels fell out of the pocket on my crossbody purse. I explained he had to keep the cars right where we were at the picnic table because it started to pour rain heavily. I repeated several times that we were all done playing and simply waiting for the rain to stop. Again, we were the only people inside. Just as the rain slowed to a light sprinkle I see the guy working the front desk walk over and in such a sarcastic ugly tone he says “ he isn’t allowed to have those in here AS YOU READ IN THE RULES! You can go ahead and take them back to your car!” Instead of being ugly right back and even bothering to explain my son and his attachment to those cars and the entire situation of them being put up and falling out of my purse, I just grabbed my stuff and left. There truly was no reason to be so ugly. The place was empty- we were sitting at the table- I stated we were just waiting for the rain to stop several times. It’s hard enough to enjoy places with an autistic child and worrying about disturbing people or what kind of meltdown they might have- but being talked to like that really just made me never want to return. All he had to say was “ma’am, unfortunately our policy doesn’t allow toys from home. Would you mind to put them away or leave them in your car?” I 100000% would have explained the situation and gladly taken the cars away from my son. Maybe some customer service classes would...
Read moreBAD BUSINESS I ordered my swing set on April 17th. Before that I was told it would be 3-4weeks. I needed a swing set quick as possible because my husband was mobilized and with the Covid going around; being alone to homeschool 3 kids with a 3yr running around, I was going crazy. There was another company that was more pricey, but they were willing to do it the following week. I rather fork out the extra money, but my husband thought this was the best deal and we would get more for our money. When I placed my order I was told that I will receive a phone call from the service people. On the 3rd week I called and the service person didn’t find my order so I was transferred to one of the workers that helped me process my order. I guess someone dropped the ball because now it was 6-8 weeks out. It seem they were going to try to fix the problem and put me on a list where I might get it sooner. After the call I got a email stating they forgot to mention that my order was sent to a sister company closer to where I was to call them for now on. I called the sister company the 3 rd week of May and they said they are waiting for the shipment to come in and that I was 1 out of 8 customers that needed to be placed on the schedule. I paid my swing set in full. Here it is June 5th and I’m still...
Read moreWorst Customer Service We recently moved to Charlotte and I looked online for a playground and this store seemed top quality, I will never know, since once I got there I was told I had to make an appointment, so law abiding as I am, I left and call the next day to make an appointment, the lady then specified kids are not allowed at the appointment time, I told her our situation and mentioned we just moved here and can't ask anyone to watch the kids plus the playground is for them I would like them to have a say, she said no, and I asked again if she could please make an exception and assured her my kids are well behaved and will not climb the equipment, she said I could leave them outside! I ask if I could talk to anyone else since she also claimed to have no control over the appointment rules and she said NO ONE at Superior Playgrounds would make an exception for me. To finish the conversation she did suggest for me to reschedule my appointment I said I always have my kids, there is no school or daycare and she said for a later time when you don't have kids... Here I...
