Dread Hollow — Local services in Chattanooga

I love the atmosphere here, I have gone to almost all haunts in GA and AL and now I'm starting TN and it's definitely off to a great start. First let me say that the different sets were awesome, they had tons of details and I love that. There was a set in the grave yard and you could smell the rosemary and it was definitely a nice touch. I loved the swamp area to were they actually added water. The costumes the actors/actress had on were also on par my favorite was probably the black goat or the possum costume. I rarely ever get scared anymore by haunts which is why I bring my lovely fiance and she lets me know when it is scary lol (there was definitely times where she was scared an a few crazy things came flying out of her mouth lol) Over all a great haunt. The only thing bad I could say would be about the group in front of us where they didn't want to walk and kept stopping and taking pictures (they did in fact get yelled at by two different staff members which was great) only add on I could suggest is that if the actors/actresses could address the stopping faster but I know people are human and can only do so much. I will be back next year to see this haunt and I may even return this year to see it again in hopes to maybe not get the butt end of the actors due to the group a head. (We definitely dont run through haunts lol if that's what yall were thinking just some people try to not go any...

Lots of fun!! Me and my date did just the haunt, not any of the escape rooms. We were interested in the escape rooms but I was a bit scared lol, and also it said you would get wet and dirty and I wasn't into that. It was actually pretty scary! But not like horribly terrifying, like I've seen some extreme haunted houses with light psychological torture or like extreme terrifying things .. and it's nothing like that!

I did scream a couple of times though haha! Mostly when people popped up at me from behind or from a corner. It was a really nice length of time as well, def worth the money. And we got cute photos for only a few dollars. We both had lots of fun! Id like to go again next year. I love horror things but I also have anxiety and am on the spectrum, so I was glad it was scary without being too intense and that they didn't have a problem with me holding my dates hand.

The actors and actresses were super good, very committed and great costumes and special effects. It made me think I'd actually love to work as one of them haha! But idk what credentials you need to be one of the haunted house people. They were super talented and scared me pretty good!

It was very well done and did scare my wife well, my 3 star rating is because as follows. We were on our honeymoon and wanted to enjoy a scary time so we went and bought costumes after making sure on the rules posted at location and they are posted all over that we were not allowed to have costumes. Nowhere and i mean nowhere on physical location did it state no masks! we both spent 100 for costumes and were told we could not wear masks inside , on the RULES before entering it states Nothing about no masks and being told by an officer and employee that they are not allowed enraged me to the point I almost asked for my money back but wanted My wife to enjoy herself so I sucked it up. But my point being half of both our costumes were not allow so this cost me roughly $200 loss each .seeing cost to enter nearly 40 each and my loss of not being able to wear our $40 masks I won't be back ..fix your location rules you made them clear about everything else except masks and costumes you know what halloween was meant to enjoy in. How about you not have it in faq but on first page before spending...
