After traveling from Mississippi today in our RV, we found a place for the night in Checotah. Looking for a place to grab food before we headed to our RV park, Smoke Ring BBQ popped up. After reading the reviews, we couldn’t wait to get there and have some great BBQ. 300 miles later, our mouths watering and our stomachs grumbling, we pulled into the parking lot. I waited outside with our very large pup (who was anxiously waiting as well), as my husband went in to order. He called me once to get my order of their homemade fried pies; we ended up taking 5, all different flavors. He came out to have me taste a sample of their burnt ends...I asked if we could buy what they had left...SOOO GOOD!!! With a shopping bag of BBQ in tow, we left to go check in at our RV park. As soon as we were set up, we sat down to eat. OMHeavens!! This BBQ is AMAZING!! My husband said the ladies working the restaurant couldn’t have been nicer, and holy moly, do they make some crazy good food!! The waitress was super friendly and kept our drinks full the entire time. There was a salad at another table that looked delicious. I will have to try it some day. We had a fried pie for desert, the Reese’s flavor is amazing! I highly recommend it. We look forward to...

By their surprise, they were both beyond pleased with their 2 meat bbq dinners! The first boy devoured his brisket, smoked sausage, macaroni salad, and potato salad. The second made his way through his brisket, chicken, and two sides of slaw. Lucky for them the staff was friendly and didn’t pass judgement on their less than classy eating habits!
So, what’s the moral of this story? If you like good bbq, good prices, and good people you...
