Barracuda Networks — Local services in Chelmsford

Great platform, great protection. We've been working with and recommending Barracuda's Essentials (e-mail) solution for about 6 months now. While we do have a few clients on their backup and archiving tiers, we're primarily focused on their anti-spam solution.

Setup is a breeze for anyone familiar with the basics of configuring DNS records (MX record specifically); we can insert Barracuda's anti-spam into a typical SMB client's mail flow in about 30 minutes and the protection is immediate.

Excellent at stopping spam, most spoofing, and filtering anything viral or malicious. Essentials also replaces links in any inbound e-mails with ones that call in to Barracuda for a final check when the recipient clicks the link in the e-mail, which is an added layer of security.

Thus far, occasional over-blocking is the only real issue, and that's solved mostly by allowing the users to check their delivery logs on their own.
