My daughter Savi started Irish Dancing with Heavey Quinn last March. She was hooked after just one class. She’s been dancing around the house, at school, while shopping, even on the sidelines at soccer. Mary and her team of teachers have been phenomenal. Each week I’m amazed by the new steps the kids learn. My daughters group all started in the spring, and danced together wonderfully on stage in June. Since then Savi has performed at two multicultural festivals and participated in her first Feis (Irish Dance competition). Whether your child is looking for a casual class or competing, Heavey Quinn is the place to be. We love our Irish Dance community. My daughter has already made great friends with her group and as a parent, I look forward to Tuesday night classes as I have similarly found a great group of parents to chat with. We go to the Metrowest location, and there is also the studio in Chelmsford. Our whole family gives Heavey Quinn two thumbs up...
Read moreHeavey Quinn is such a great studio to become a competitive dancer, while making best friends at the same time. I am a senior and have danced at the studio for the past 6 years. I have competed as a solo dancer and group dancer in ceili teams and our choreography team. I have advanced through all the levels of Irish Dancing with the help of my dance teachers at Heavey Quinn and have been apart of high placing teams. Not only is Heavey Quinn a great school to prepare for competition but is also a great school for recreational dancing. The recital at the end of the year is definitely a highlight with creative dances, fun music and the great costumes. There are also many dance outs throughout the year especially around St. Patrick's Day to spread cheer! Even without competition there are so many fun events throughout the year to keep a...
Read moreWe’ve had a wonderful experience at Heavey Quinn Irish Dance with our two daughters—one in the Jump n Jig program and the other in the Advanced Beginner class. Jump n Jig is such a well-organized activity for little ones, with staff who keep the kids engaged while building a strong foundation in Irish dance. Watching my older daughter grow from Jump n Jig into Advanced Beginner has been amazing—not only in the progression of her skills but also in the sense of community the school fosters. The friendships she’s formed here are truly special. Whether you want to be competitive or attend classes for recreation, there is something...
