CENTRALIA CROSSING — Local services in Chester

Pretty good neighborhood grocery. Shelves are pretty much restocked now that China is making our food again. Parking lot has some strange access issues (thanks to Chesterfield cty / state gov't) but we have gotten used to finding a way in and out. It's a super convenient location for us without having to battle traffic on Jeff Davis Hwy. Occasionally we have to go to the big box store to get an item, or their price is occasionally way out of line with the big box store. But sometimes it's worth the convenience to pay a little more. Dinty Moore beef stew and Naked juice items, for instance are significantly cheaper at the big box store. But I suppose those are luxury items anyway. Typical to grocery store stock, salads in a bag are sometimes browning when you get them. Don't expect more than a couple days out of those. Wawa and Firehouse subs are much better sources for fresh pre-made salads if you can afford them. This location also carries a small assortment of Dots Pastry products, which are some of the best around! I actually didn't realize they were in stock until I heard about it thru word...

Bad experience. Daughter's merchandise was given to someone else, after she had the ticket. When asked no one knows nothing. They do not remember selling it. I think it was an inside job. Some one knows something. It was a cedar chest half price of $75. We talked to the manager about it. The older white lady who stands at the carts she remember seeing it. She said it had an orange ticket on it. I think she has her favorite people that she looks out for, knowing it is not right. Also, she tell lies. Told manager several lies. She did not see a cedar chest and then said she did. Observing her she is sly and conniving. She deals with her special people I think. For that reason, she needs to be removed. A small white lady kept looking at chest but we had the ticket. It was not called over intercom. We had the big ticket. But, small tickets was on the chest. I say, inside job. No one knows nothing. How did that big chest slip by everyone. Inside job. White older lady standing at door knows more than she is telling. Buddy system. Wrong! We want to be treated...

I'm pretty sure my reason for being here was a visit to Food Lion which I have already posted a review For although it was for a different location. Sometimes location is key, As it is in this case. This Food Lion is more more lines available and and the the experience is a lot more pleasurable and less stressful. It's nowhere near as crowded I don't feel like I have to wear my knee pads and helmet and mouth guard before I go shopping. Plus there is a delicious Chinese take out restaurant next door which is always a plus... The parking lot on the other hand is a little smaller and a pain when crowded. The store is more or less always clean and organized which is very important when you go...
