Food Lion — Local services in Chincoteague

Come on people. Are you incompetent to see the truth about this establishment? I've been frequenting this store for 7 years. Their customer service has declined in a BIG way since then. People hired as cashiers are rude as all get out. They do not speak to the customers. Not to mention greet customers appropriately and acknowledge their presence or treat them in a professional manner. I mean, come on! They signed up for a customer service job. We didn't place them there! It's just not ok. Additionally, the steaks we have purchased from this Food Lion, are hit or miss. Mostly a miss. They charge the public up to around $20 for what you'd think would be a excellent cut of meat for that price. Nope, as it turns out. We have bought many of steaks from this store and they are chewy, stringy and full of grissel! Not fun when you spend over $20 for a cut of meat! Save yourself the trouble of those shenanigans and go to a local butcher.There's plenty nearby. Just Google it. This Food Lion is simply the worst I have have ever been to since that establishment first arrived in this area! Not like the stores of the late '70's or... the '80's. Times have changed, and...

This store has many stocked items and a decent sized produce section. The deli has regular hot item ready to pick up and the little hot bar is awesome when looking for a quick lunch to grab and go. Lots of deli meat selections . This store has many new sales each week. Remember to sign up for your MVP card and print out your coupons when you get to the store so you can get the sale items. Store seems clean and has friendly staff. If you ever have any issues go to the main office. Please return your cart to the cart areas so others can use them and they don't damage anyone's...

Visited as an out of town tourist who was not familiar with the brand. Had everything I needed for my visit but prices were higher than I expected. They seem to not carry a full lineup of generic/store brand products that rival name brand items. However, compared to the local beach town stores, this store was a true gift in pricing and selection even with a 10 Mile drive from my rental. I was able to sign up for their store discount card at a self serve kiosk that also printed some coupons. The staff was kind and helpful and I didn't have to wait to pay...
