I came into this store with my sample of water ready to gain some knowledge about my pool maintenance as I am relatively new to in ground pool care.
Andrea G was the associate in the morning at what appeared to be a slow time of day. She did test my water and give me a few recommendations as far as what test strips and chemicals. However, when it came to my more specific question as far as the DE and Muriatic Acid. She was very short with me.
It almost seemed as if she was trying to rush me out of there so I can stop asking her questions. It felt like she was bothered that I continued to ask for clarification yet she was not very specific at all. She also just continued to say I am not sure you have to check the test strip without fully reviewing my water results. I eventually pulled it out and asked for a 3rd time to go over it with more details before I left the store so I can write down better directions for myself.
Overall I say the experience was sub par and after reading all the great reviews for this store I would say it was...

The quote seemed high to me but they told me that they had free installation and the system they picked was quoted at $1329 minus a $200.00 SCE credit for a total of $1129.00 out the door. They were going to send a tech over to make sure that the new equipment would work with my automatic system (Jandy). I was told by the tech that it was fine, pay at the store after he installed the equipment. What he failed to tell me was that free installation did not include the special $300 module or the $188 programming fee. In other words, out the door was a lie. They knew they were not disclosing this and the store guys threw the install guys under the bus. They said they were totally at fault. What kind of a company is this? The bill came out to be $1575 with a quote "out the door" of $1129. THEY LIE. Watch them closely. They add on without your consent. Oh, and the programming was done...

We exchanged scenarios for a few seconds and then she became upset and said she wasnât here to argue. We werenât arguing at all. Then when I came back to return the dolly, the next customer was telling her that he hopes she has a better day now that I was gone. What did she tell the customer? I will not return to Leslieâs.
