I had terrible service. My truck broke down, and I was trying to figure out the issue. My roommate, who is a male, had been with me and helping me since I had no vehicle. It was insinuated, stated outright, etc. that the truck was mine, a female, to the cashier during the consultation about what was needed for the truck, yet he (the cashier) completely excluded me from the conversation. He spoke only to my (male) roommate, saying things like "I can sell you" or "your issue" or "your truck" while not even addressing me in the slightest. I even had to interrupt and make it known to this seemingly sexist cashier that he was not selling anything to my roommate, he was selling it to me and to address me about MY issue. Even after politely suggesting he address me about my own truck issue, he still had difficulty addressing me and continued to speak to my roommate while occasionally throwing some glances at me. I was infuriated. I have never been treated with such disrespect in my life. Is it so hard to fathom that a woman can solely own a truck and come to an auto parts store for consultation to fix the issue? Is that so unimaginable? A woman? Surely not! Give me a BREAK.
At least at Advanced Autoparts had the decency to address and speak to me like I was an equal to the male gender. Even Bumper to Bumper spoke to me like a normal human being. Didn't realize Oriellys employees were so far stuck in the past. Needless to say, I won't ever be going back again. Oh and I'm pretty sure the sexist cashier lied about the battery...
Read moreI put two hub assemblies in my cart online and the free brake pads that it advertises. Something was going on at checkout and I couldn’t pay online. So when I got there I asked for the two hub assemblies and brake pads but it rung up way more. The pads weren’t free. So I asked about it and they said they didn’t know if they had a promotion like that going on. I showed them that it said they didn’t online and still wasn’t sure all they were going to do is give me $20 off. So I bought the hub assemblies from there because they were the only ones in town that had two of them but I know it doesn’t hurt them but I went and paid full price for the brake pads at autozone just because they wouldn’t even take the time to check. $20 or not it just made me feel a little better after spending a lot of money with these guys and not even a little bit of courtesy of even...
Read moreMy husband went to pick up a major auto part tonight that has been paid for and was supposed to have been sent from the Marianna store to Chipley by today. The Marianna location didn't send the part to Chipley as promised. The one star rating for the Chipley location is partly because they didn't offer to get the part to him tonight, nor did they ask Marianna to. The poor communication between the two locations and the fact that neither location made it right or attempted to get the part to him this evening when they were still going to be open a few hours really aggravated me! Now, we will have to go out of our way and make another trip on another day for something they could have prevented with proper...
