Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Chipley

My guest and I chose to eat in ,we ordered the new chicken nuggets mild, and a drink ckmes with your meals,one order with mashed potatoes and gravy ,one order with Cajun fries, and both with biscuits. Along with their new sauces blakened ranch and barbecue. The chicken nuggets are juicey on the inside and crunchy on the outside ,there is so much flavor , Delicious by their self! We absolutely tried the sauces as well( im not a big fan of ranch) yet this blackend ranch is extraordinary,the ranch is more like a very high quality ranch with such creaminess and as your after taste is almost like a very smooth creamy cheesy type flavor ,this ranch is phenomenal! The barbecue sauce is very delicious as well! The mashed potatoes and gravy are exceptional,it's like home made Delicious ! The fries are crispy on the outside and moist and tender inside hot fresh cooked, and the flavor of the seasonings are fantastic! Their biscuits are so delicious! Served hot and fresh,buttery outside, fluffy inside perfection! We choose their sweet tea, they have the best sweet tea that I have had in a fast food restaurant hands down.the service was fast friendly and curtiouse. My guest and I will be going back to the Popeyes in chipley with out a doubt! We managed to visit Popeye's for the first time since they opened in Chipley, and were the second car in the drive through. Ordering through the speaker was going well - they confirmed our order in full before we pulled up to the window. At the window, the cashier confirmed it again. We proceeded to wait for nearly 15 minutes at the window, having confirmed our order a third time and watching one of the employees handle food rather carelessly in and out of containers; and finally received a large bag of food, neatly stacked. We did not check the order at the window, as we figured $50+ worth of food would be handled correctly.

Once we got home and unloaded the bag, I discovered the single order of non-breaded blackened chicken was nowhere to be found, though all the sides and the tea to match the meal were there. Having a non-breaded option was the secondary reason we chose to go to Popeye's,, the first being how close it was to our route home. To say that we were less than pleased is an understatement. What we received for quite a bit of money on a Monday night, after all the confirming and questioning and watching, did not match our receipt, or our expectations.

Given this was our first experience at this location, I can't see our family returning to this location...

Horrible service. I was with my two grown kids. They both ordered and paid. I went to place my order, the young girl started to take it but then walked to the back. They continued to take and fill new orders from the drive through. There were 4 or 5 people behind me. My husband walked in and was in the back of the line. He asked me how long I had been waiting. I said awhile. He went out, drove through the drive in, got his food, came back in and sat with our kids to eat. No one had come back up front still! I motioned to the person I assumed was the manager she finally came up front but still didn't speak to me. Just proceeded to move baskets of waiting chicken around.

When the young lady came back I asked to speak to the manager and she told the lady that had walked up front "She wants to talk to you."

I stated to say "I'm not angry I'd just like to explain what happened and let you know there is a problem with your system." She proceeded to get defensive and tell me why there was not a problem. In the meantime the 4 people in line had still not even been able to order! She did NOT want to hear it.

Update: A representative from Popeyes reached out to me. They apologized for my experience and are looking into it. They are also sending me a coupon for...
