I had 4 tires installed on my truck last Wednesday and I had a flat that next Friday two days later. The flat was not their fault but when I went to remove the lug nuts to install my spare one of them was so over torqued I broke the lug nut with a breaker bar trying to remove it. I tried calling them that morning but they were not open yet so I had to have the truck towed to a tire shop in Shawnee and they could not get the broken lug removed either with a broken lug removal tool because it was so tight. I had to limp the truck to Fred's tire also in Shawnee where they faught trying to get it removed as well. At one point the tech told me they were maybe going to have to use a blow torch to blow through it to get it off. Eventually Fred's got it removed and another tire put on. The worst part was I wrote one of the owners from 44th Tire a private message with pictures being very nice and not wanting to be that person who goes straight to bad reviews. I very much am all for people making mistakes and things happen. All I wanted was for them to cover my tow, Freds labor and make it right. All I got was "please call the shop" several hours later. I did immediately and the tech that installed my lug nuts just 2 days before was immediately extremely defensive and told me that I was the problem because the only way that lug could have broken off was if the socket was not all the way down and there is no way he could have possibly overtorqued anything. I told him that this is not an opinion but fact because I was using a breaker bar and no matter what it shouldn't have taken that much torque much less break a lug not off. He still aggressively would not entertain the idea that he could have made a mistake and was very unprofessional. I was extremely understanding and told him that I'm not mad and I understand that mistakes happen I just wanted to make things right so I could keep using their business, again he denied any wrongdoing and wouldn't budge. He specifically said he didn't make any mistakes. I then said thank you, hung up the phone and direct messaged the owner again with details of the conversation and I still 4 days later have not received any messages back from anyone. I have never been more patient and understanding in my entire life to be left with absolutely no good things to say. I had used them several times before as well as many of my neighbors and I can't say that will happen in the future. I gave them multiple chances to make things right before I went public with anything bad to say but apparently they...
Read moreI never usually leave bad reviews but this time is an exception. I went in and got 4 used tires for my car which cost me $250. No biggie but when I was driving home it felt like I was driving with an oval shaped wheel on my right front side. Took it to a different shop and they told me the tire had a flat spot. Took it back and it got swapped out for a different used tire, again no biggie. Drove home again and checked my tire pressure and they were all at 45 psi except for the left rear which was at 10 psi. (My car calls for 29psi) I looked and the sidewall of that tire was about to blow out. I took it back up there again and they gave me another tire but snapped one of my studs off from continuously hitting it with the impact. They didnt even get it off before i left so i ended up having to pay another shop to fix their mistakes. (Took them 40 minutes to even get the tires off because of how hard they hit em with the impact gun and the broken stud had to be grinded off.)I will not be returning to this business. Waste of time and money. You can comment back and try to argue all you want but your technicians are inexperienced and if you aren't careful you will end up with a lawsuit from...
Read moreMy wife and I went to this place to get a tire replaced of course we gotta use one of the time our budget was tight the first tire we got it leaked air and we went back and a gentleman replaced the tire with another used tire we continue to have issues with airbase from the tire. We couldn’t understand why so we decided just to go to Walmart and get tires from there when the Walmart Tire guy took the tire off the car. The tire was filled with metal shavings, sand dirt, and leaves. My wife and I called up to the tire place to express our experience with them about the leaves and the metal shavings in the tire. The lady said to my wife was been over a month. My wife expressed she was was calling to let her know about the tire and the issues. She said that they’re supposed to clean the tires out before they put them on the vehicle and I said well they didn’t if you were going to use this I would highly suggest you make sure that there is Nothing in the tire that they’re gonna put on your car. I can’t say they were very nice when we went in there. But as far as our experience with purchasing a tire...
