When I moved back out to the country after living in the city for 3 years, the last thing I expected was to land close by the best liquor store I've seen in the whole State!

Whoever is working the counter is always eager to help (and knowledgeable about their products), ready to chat (even to my rambling self), and so refreshingly genuine. The prices are also good.

The selection is amazing. No matter how many times I come in for my regulars, if I spend just a few minutes browsing (which I nearly always do) it seems as though I'm sure to find something novel to try. One of the things my dad and me enjoy is trying new specialty or craft beers and ales together. This is the only place I've been where I found something that made him say 'son, where did you find that? I've never seen it before.'

It is my responsibility as a parent to control what my child does, I definitely understand that. With that being said I tried to handle a situation quietly with the business owner. I told him what happened and that I saw it happening and that I handled the situation at home. My issue is that when I was just giving the owner a heads up that he said it wasn't his problem and I needed to handle it at home and called me a liar. I have always had a lot of respect for this business and the owners, they have always been so friendly and helpful and wanted to handle the situation quietly. I don't appreciate being called a lair. Things happen, people make mistakes but you handle this type of situation in a professional...

Excellent selection which is sorta crazy for a country store AND it was 5(ish) percent cheaper than my normal place. I only knew a few prices so some other prices might be way off. The cashier was an older, friendly guy. I don't know if he was the owner but he was sure helpful and knew about what stock they were maintaining. I was crazy impressed.
