Some of the worst customer service. This review has been a long time coming. I'm writing this as a professional in the Lawn industry, not a home owner. I've spent close to 15,000$ there over the years. They will take advantage of you. I took a mower in to have a specific part replaced, I pointed it out to everyone there, 3 weeks later I get the machine back and it still has the same worn out parts on it,yet I have a $400+ bill. I asked why the parts weren't replaced and why I had a bunch of random things replaced instead. Things that didn't need to be replaced as critically as my issue. The tech said, "I don't know" and walked off. They charged me for new belts, filters, etc, even wheel bearings. The mower still had its issue and was eventually taken to a more reputable dealer. Their wheel bearing job lasted 300hrs before coming apart. The other wheel bearings are original and have 1100hrs. Upon taking the wheel off to get the bearings and race out of the wheel, I see that they beat it all back together, I actually had to cut off all the inner workings because it was so damaged I couldn't press it out. You could see where the hammer had hit over and over. Basically, if they can't correctly install wheel bearings, they won't do anything else correctly either. The same applies to weedeaters or hand tools, they once tried to charge me for a new spark plug, air and fuel filter just when I brought something in for a valve adjustment. Those items had just been replaced by my own people. Then the tried to tell me stihl required those items to be changed. I wouldn't pay for them. If they try and take advantage of businesses, I can only imagine what they do to the homeowners that bring their...
Read moreAugust 15, 2016 I took my Craftsman zero turn mower to Mike's because I thought that I had carburetor problems and the Gravely dealer in Choctaw charged me hundreds of dollars to fix it and then refused to even look at it again when I took it back (would not even start when I got it home). Fortunately, someone recommended Mike's to me It was a surprisingly difficult problem to diagnose (I am an aircraft mechanic and I had a LOT of trouble doing it myself). Mike's guys got it to run after looking at the carb and also the fuel lines, etc. However, I had to bring it back because the problem turned out to be a faulty choke cable. Mike's lawn equipment, however, refused to charge me anything extra because they thought they should have gotten in right the first time. I have rental homes (and two teenage sons) so I do notably more lawn care and need more maintenance help than the average person. Since my first experience with Mike's, I cannot think of anything that was not resolved on the first trip. The staff is professional, helpful and extremely knowledgeable (I like to do maintenance myself as much as possible). I also purchased equipment and parts from Mike's. They stand behind their work and stand behind what they sell. Mike's Lawn even did warranty work on my new Hustler's deck even though I think that I may have damaged it while trying to load it into a truck during a rainstorm (slipped on the ramps) They are my FIRST choice for help with all of my lawn equipment...
Read moreYou can look far-and-wide and not find a better lawn equipment company than Mike's. This is a family owned and operated business, and Lisa and Mike treat their customers like family. From straight-forward assistance with making a purchase to professional service and repair of your new or used equipment, these folks are absolutely outstanding. I discovered Mike when seeking repair for my old joy-stick Snapper. He repaired it perfectly, and it now starts and cuts like it was new. I then purchased from him a Stihl chain saw, which is amazing. A friend of mine purchased a Zero-Turn Exmark Z-X Series from Mike, and his three acre lawn looks better than ever, just beautiful, with the cut the Exmark gives. So, if you are looking for high quality service, great products, and reasonable prices, look no farther...
