Dollar Tree — Local services in Chowchilla

I am agoraphobic and even during this busy season I felt quit comfortable, which is unusual for me. I had my work dog with me and the staff was pleasant kind and was there to ask if I needed help as I was in my scooter the saw me struggling a little to get some things and asked me if I needed help. The ills were wide enough for my scooter, not like the $ tree in los banos near food 4 less, that store is baddddd. I injured my self trying to go around I'lls and ended up making a big gash on the side of my knee and my knee brace was soaking up the blood. About 10 minutes later I realized what had happened, went back to let them know and either the co. Or owner after taking down my info, dismissed my injuries to my fault. They had a handicapped symbol out side and it was quite obvious they are NOT handicapped friendly. I now have a dark scare on my knee forever. Chowchilla is by far the best $ tree I have ever been in and give this store the best rating there can be. Thank you $ tree for coming to Chowchilla. Went into the Dollar tree in Chowchilla CA, I wanted to exchange a seasonal item. I was told by the assistant manger Trini that I could not return or exchange seasonal items. I told her to read the bottom of the receipt where it said I could not return items. She wouldn't read the receipt, started yelling at me, called the cops. It turns out that she was in the wrong, the police officer read the bottom of the receipt and went back into the store and bought me a new item. He told me that there really wasn't anything else I could do. Trying to get someone from the Dollar tree to listen to you is impossible. I called the manager, district manager and even the corporate office and had to leave mesages with no return calls. So, if you are wanting to try and exchange or return something they will more than likely give you a hard time. From now on I will pay the higher price for something because the Dollar tree is just a cheap, poor quality store just like...

My opinion; clean store, very helpful, and positive attitude. I can see why there’s negative or 1 starts reviews. But in reality!! From a regular customers point of view, If you go in with a nice attitude and treat the employees good they will treat you the same, but if you’re not understanding why they cannot do a refund or take something back or not get it your way and you start making a fuss and start treating them bad, they will do it back, yes it’s a bit unprofessional but they’re only humans like everyone else.
