I wanted to be happy with this establishment, but honestly I am so disappointed in the quality of work I received and the customer service from one of the workers. I needed repair on my engagement ring and finally got the courage to take it to somewhere that I had heard pretty good things about. My first visit I went over with the individual of what I wanted done; which was resized and two diamonds replaced. He said no problem we can do that and it will be ready for pickup in about a week; we will clean it and check all diamonds to make sure they are all secure when you pick it up!. Awesome seems like its going to be a great experience. They call me to let me know my ring is ready. First thing I notice is that there is black all over my ring! as I put it on I can already tell it has not been resized, still fits the exact same. So I Pay and leave with the ring because I want to investigate it more in my own environment. I'm sitting in the parking lot and I notice one of the diamond that's supposed to be replaced looks like it has a film over it do I do a little rub on it and is comes out... I'm not sure if it was even a diamond at all, looked more like glue trying to pass as a diamond. the other diamond is smaller then the diamond should be and they melted my ring to try and make it fit, but it doesn't match the other side so its very noticeable, plus they left it ridged and not smooth. Lastly, there were two other diamonds that had become loose while in their care that I had to ask them to fix, when they said that that would ensure all diamonds were secure So I call and let them know my concerns and that I want to bring the ring back in the next day and have what I paid for complete. When I go in the first man that helped me has an instance attitude when I start to show him the problems with the ring, he ensures its not a big deal, so I say yes this is a very big deal and i expect you to take it seriously, then the owner steps in and says let me trade you customers. So as I'm going over the problems with Todd and ensures that he will personally work on it and have everything fixed for me. When I got back to pick the ring up, its still not the size that I had wanted but the diamonds looked fixed so I just accepted it because I did not trust them to keep my ring any longer.. we are now about 5 months out from the time it was repaired and both diamonds have came out that they replaced... I am not way to scared to even take it to another Jewelry repair place because the horrible experience I received at Todd's!! I would not recommend to anyone! If I could give 0...
Read moreConsumer warning âď¸ Wow !!!! Consumer warning !!!! I bought several pieces to be repaired a while back. One particular piece was a childhood ring I wanted to give to my son. After picking the ring up. When i got home the ring was black in the inside and outside as if the burns from the repair was still there. Mind you I paid almost two hundred for the work. Granted, I knew I was being over charged i sparred no expense because again it had sentimental value. I contacted the store and they advised me to bring the ring back in. I also purchase a diamond ring for my wife at that time I was advised the ring was being discounted, I paid about six hundred bucks. About a week later the diamond fell out and I had returned it. Which I must say was very embarrassing !!!! Due to that I decided never to do business with them again. Fast forward to last week. My chain broke and I needed a simple weld, because itâs close to me I took the chain for repair and decided to take the ring in as well to be cleaned, I also pointed out that when you put the ring on it scratches your finger, meaning from the previous work it wasnât done right. I was charged an additional 20 bucks because it was outside of the repair warranty he also advised me he will fix the rugged inside at no additional cost. ( I wasnât bringing the ring for that reason but I said ok no problem.
I came to pick up the ring today and the first thing I noticed was the inside of the ring had a box shaped figure that was now ( gone)removed !!! Also the inside of the ring was filled with streaks from when they grinded out the inside. I requested to speak with the owner. I asked him why would he cut out the entire inside, ââ thatâs a lot of gold removed and gold is too expensiveââ he then looked at me and asked me if I was high !!! And because I am accusing him of essentially stealing from me. He felt disrespected and asked to leave and if I donât leave he will call the Cops, as if I wasnât doing that already !!!!!!
Fact is, not only they did a horrible job the first and second time but to threaten me with the police in addition to disparaging my character because I pointed out the bad job that was done is beyond Bad customer service.
Guys thereâs many Reputable jewelry stores in the area !!! Donât do business with these people !!!! Consumer warning âď¸ .I included a few pictures. Camera isnât all that great, Stretch the pictures and you will see the entire inside has been grinded down. The...

I bought an engagement ring for my fiancĂŠ two weeks ago. During the two weeks, we had to get the ring resized 4 times. We originally ordered a size 6, which is the size Todd put on the invoice order. When we received the ring it was too big so we took it back to Toddâs jewelry. He measured it on the ring sizer madrel at a size 7. When we told him we ordered a 6, he responded with, âWell you didnât get it sized here.â As stated, we initially ordered a size 6. Todd took no responsibility and would not acknowledge any fault for having the ring a different size than what was agreed upon. Todd then tried to convince me to get a size 5 1/2 to which I stated I felt would be too small. I trusted his judgment and went with the size 5 1/2. When we went to pick up the ring, the 5 1/2, was too small. He agreed to resize it to a size six. Once receiving the ring again from resizing it was too big, measuring at 6 1/4. He obviously incorrectly sized it again.
After we received the ring a few days ago from the third resizing, there is an obvious noticeable discoloration on the shank and scratches from soldering. Material has been getting caught on the prongs and the band is warped. I took it to be inspected by two local jewelry stores, both certified in appraisals. It was shown, there was discoloration on the shank which was more than likely due to Todd cutting corners and using a different material than rose gold. The prongs are placed incorrectly, sitting higher and outward, obviously not holding the diamond correctly. Which is what is causing the ring to snag. (Shown in photos).
When the issues were revealed to Todd, he told us that the prongs are always going to have space and not sit on the diamond. He also said they cannot fix the shank due to multiple resizing (due to poor craftsmanship).
This is extremely disheartening. This is meant to be an extremely happy and important moment in our lives. The lack of responsibility taken on the ownerâs behalf is alarming. It reveals the lack of quality of work Toddâs Jewelry is willing to put into their jewelry. Clearly taking no time with the jewelry and making me feel like a transaction rather than a person. I would not recommend anyone go to this jewelry store. Save yourself...
