BowlersMart Tampa Pro Shop Inside Pin Chasers Veterans — Local services in Citrus Park

My wife and I visited this shop on Saturday, 7/27/24, and purchased 2 bowling balls. We were helped by Lewis and he answered our questions and gave suggestions. Once deciding on which balls we would like, Lewis said he would be able to drill the balls the same day. He quoted 40 mins. We told him we would grab lunch up the road and come back to pick up the balls. This was around 1:20pm. We came back at 2:30pm and the shop was closed. The stated closing time was 3 pm. Lewis did not mention he would drill the balls and leave immediately or give any indication he would close early.

We went to the bowling alley desk to see what was going on with the pro-shop, but they only advised the pro-shop close early and it is separate from the bowling alley.

We drove back the next day and Lewis was not working. The attendant on Sunday was helpful and re-drilling our thumb holes to the proper size.

when asking why the shop closed early on Saturday, we were told "maybe he had an emergency". nothing more.

Lewis and Jim have taken care of myself and spouse with the uptmost professionalism at every interaction. From my first visit when I was purchasing a ball for Fathers day I knew I could trust Jim's expert opinion. Since the first purchase we have returned for advice from Lewis and Jim many times, and have never been let down.They are always willing to assist and make time for deep conversation to help my husband develop his game further. In the last few months we have purchased several balls and had them drilled by Lewis/Jim to perfection! They make time for you and because of this we will return to this pro shop for all of our needs and gifts for others....

Bought a ball from there pro shop and he drilled it wrong and even after I told him what I was looking for he sold me a ball that left me out my money and unhappy the guy running the shop said it was not his fault and even when I told him the ball wasn’t reacting or hooking enough he blamed the lanes and refused to give me money back for his mistake in drilling the ball to what he thought instead of just listening to what I ask for will never do business with him again buyers beware he tried to blame me but if you are running a pro shop you should know what you are doing so thumbs down never gonna go there...
