Gamblers Bay Distillery — Local services in Citrus Park

I have wanted to stop in at Gamblers Bay for a very long time and since I was in the area on a Saturday, we got to make it happen. Like a lot of distilleries it was in a very unassuming, off the beaten path, industrial park. They have very limited hours in fact they’re only open on Saturdays. The bartender was new. It was literally his first day. I think he did great for it being only his first day and it seemed that he was the only person there. They have a great social media presence, which I think is what lures in a lot of people. They are known for their espresso martinis. I opted for a flight and only finished two. The toasted coconut was not my favorite and it seemed a little watery. I honestly don’t remember the second one I had, but it was definitely very Italian cookie-esk and was also served with a cookie on the rim. That one was much better than the first. I did enjoy a sample of their strawberry rum. And my other half had the strawberry rum Mojito that was actually very delicious and refreshing!! Overall, it was a nice experience, not exactly what I thought it was going to be, but I wouldn’t not...

My husband and I had such a great experience here. When we first arrived, we were really uncertain if we were in the right place, but we saw the table and chairs out front so we knew it was even if there wasn’t much signage. So just trust that your art right place and go in.

Our bartender was incredibly knowledgeable as he’s been in the bartending industry for a really long time. But he was also really knowledgeable as to how to make a fantastic cocktail and how to use the products they’re distilling at Gamblers Bay. Speaking of which the gin that they make on site is probably the best gin I’ve ever had. It was so good that my husband liked it and he doesn’t like gin ever.

Joseph was amazing! Incredibly kind, thoughtful, and a great bartender. We had never been here before but it certainly won't be our last visit. We tried the flights, espresso martini flight, navy sour, and the lavender lychee martini, and we have zero complaints about them. Truly 10/10 in pricing, taste, and atmosphere. Highly recommend...
