SAVE YOURSELF THE HEARTACHE AND TROUBLE FROM BOOKING ANYTHING HERE

From start to finish this venue is absolutely an EMBARRASSMENT. My fiancé and I booked this venue for our wedding. The first problem was that Mark DOUBLE BOOKED our wedding! We changed the date reluctantly with him due to not wanting to go through the hassle of finding another venue on such short notice. Note Mark gave us a free photo booth, champagne toast, grilled veggies and cured meat along with “upgraded linens” due to him double booking our wedding date.

We then went back to visit the venue. We visited on the 23rd of June which is obviously considered wedding season. The venue was run down and not up-kept to say the least. The ceiling was leaking, the outdoor patio was overgrown with weeds. This was just the beginning of another unpleasant experience. Mark informed my fiancé she would have to hang up her own decorations on the archway for the ceremony. He also mentioned he “practically was making nothing” off of this wedding due to adding a few free things because HE DOUBLE BOOKED IT.

Now if you think all of this is bad, it gets worse. Mark then brought us to look at decorations on the other side of the venue. He mentioned “Don’t mind the air mattress that’s setup, I’ve been sleeping here.” As in he SLEEPS AT THE VENUE!

We left the venue confused, angry and worried. After many discussions we finally decided to cancel. Mark then proceeded to call us back claiming we were being abrasive, that we should have told him sooner. Again no apology, let alone genuine accountability. He became argumentative pleading his case along with the fact he had already bought food for the tasting we had scheduled. He also claims to have priced us at “half off” when we had notable proof that was not done. He then proceeded to call US SHADY to top off this whole mess.

Please DO NOT BOOK HERE! I hope this review saves someone the heartache, torment and anxiety this venue has caused us, let alone losing money on vendors and a large deposit. If this review doesn’t tell you enough READ THE OTHERS SINCE THIS VENUE HAS BEEN UNDER...

This guy will not follow through on what you're supposed to get. He doesn't keep track of what he's supposed to do and he will not provide services or items that you were supposed to receive. He'll tell you what he can't provide while your event is happening by confronting you drunkenly in front of everyone. Did not provide the contracted uplighting, photo booth or champagne toast. Staff was not refilling water. No one served the wedding cake. We had to decorate the tables ourselves. And although we thought the food was going to be good, it ended up being very disappointing. The owner and staff drink on the job and appeared drunk on multiple occasions. So disappointed in their work. He doesn't even know what his contract includes and was just yelling and screaming at guests and the bride and groom. He tried to tell us to get out early and threatened to call the police. What a shameful way to run your business! I would avoid working with him at all costs. This guy took over in the last two years so any older reviews are not of his work. Too many of us experienced this for you to deny what happened. You know what you did. Sleeping in the photo booth. Giving me pennies on the dollar back for things I paid for but didn't receive. Untrained staff. False accusations. Breaking the contract that you clearly didn't even have detailed knowledge of. You didn't even have a receipt book when taking a cash payment. Super shady. No legit businessperson does that. I had to force you to sign a receipt that I wrote for the transaction. That place needs...

If I could give zero stars I would!! Disappointed doesn’t even cover it! Owner/chef totally drunk. Food was terrible. Rice not cooked, steak no flavor. Chef didn’t make any vegetarian dishes when it was discussed prior there were 3 people who wanted the vegetarian option. No one refilled waters. Wait staff was drinking and smelled of pot. No one was dressed professionally. Staff was in jeans and sweatshirts. Paid for open bar. They were out of Riesling, one of the 3 beers they offered and whiskey by 7:00. Part of the open bar package is a champagne toast for everyone. Owner started screaming at the groom that they didn’t get that and only bride and groom would get champagne. Because he had only one bottle of champagne!!! Then was screaming at the grooms mother. Awful behavior!! Paid for up lighting and photo booth. Owner came and threw 200$ on the grooms table and said I don’t know what’s wrong with the up lighting and photo booth is broke, While the reception was happening. Owner said he wanted everyone out at 9:00 or he was calling the cops, wedding was suppose to be on until 10:30. Then he shut down the bar at 10, 30 min too soon. Charged 64$ for 6 shots of terrible tequila. Had to come to venue 3 days prior to event to clean and set up. Day of wedding one of the guests was cleaning up one of the toilets in the men’s room. I mean I could go on and on and on. RUN!!! Spend your money...
