Folks, I read through these reviews and some of the negative reviews are petty at best, LOL. From complaints about "Rude" staff to prices on the menu changed to the images don't match what is served. Take those negative reviews with some salsa, because they miss the mark completely and are not a meaningful reflections of the restaurant, food, staff or pricing. ALSO, many if not most businesses are adding a handling fee between 3 and 4% on your charge cards because THAT is what they are being charged by the card companies or you can pay cash and avoid the fee.

Some of the staff doesn't speak any English, they are authentically from South of the border and not necessarily Mexico although the owners are from Mexico. The perceived rudeness is likely that the person doesn't clearly understand what you are communicating to them but I have never witnessed any of them being rude when I have eaten there.

Regarding prices, understand, we are in an economy where inflation is hitting the food industry hard and daily. Food prices are volatile, there is also a disclaimer on the menu that prices are subject to change. The images on the menu are generic, some were taken of the actual dishes while others are general illustrations for common dishes and some descriptions do not match what is prepared in the kitchen such as whether burritos are stuffed with ingredients or served on the side. One person suggested serving rice and beans in separate containers, that is Ala Carte, it adds cost and is unnecessary when honestly, Mexican food is best when touching in my opinion. If that is the way you want it served, ask for it don't make it a complaint, that's goofy.

The food here is excellent and unlike another Mexican restaurant here in Oswego County, it is clean and Mezquite aren't regulars in the Public Health Department write-ups in the local news publishing's.

Only one time was my dinner made wrong, two weeks after they opened, I ordered Texas Fajita's and it was delivered without the shrimp. No big deal, the food was still great and it was during a busy night, things happen, it is not a reason to not return or leave a negative review or short them a star as I have continued to go weekly since they opened.

As for atmosphere, it is a nice dining area with Mexican decorations and painted as you would expect a Mexican restaurant themed dining room, there is also a bar room with table seating and during the summer months there is a patio and Tiki Bar AND for boaters there is a dock to tie up to and go in to the restaurant accessible from the Oswego River. Let me add one more thing, because the floors are carpeted in the dining room, it isn't as noisy as restaurants with tiled floors like a cafeteria, so you can have a meal without shouting at your dinner guests.

Service here is fast. If it isn't crowded when you are there your meals will be served pretty fast. I would say in under 5 minutes.

To those who swore off returning....that's your loss, go buy some Hormel at Walmart. Honestly, no one needs your petty complaints, I read them for laughs because I know the truth and can mistakes happen? Yes, take it for what that is, leaving a single star vindictively is low brow and people know it because of the positives left here by others.

For me who loves Mexican food and the People that run this restaurant, I'm going to continue to put my money where my mouth is and it is going to Mezquite De Luna. There is a second one on Rt 11 in Hastings, 3.7 miles north of Central Square that I have not eaten at yet to but the atmosphere at the Fulton location is second to none and seats almost twice as many people as the...

This location didn’t look like much from outside , when we walked in it was clear to see it was very clean and well kept in the seating area. Server was quick and attentive . The chips and salsa they provide were amazing . We had the medium frozen Margarita it was huge and excellent . Our dinners arrived very quickly and all 3 were outstanding . The enchillada Verdes , Burritos Jalisco and La Mia Patria were all all a hit, we asked for the guacamole salad to be swapped w beans on the la Mia Patria and the beans were amazing . All 3 were amazing . My Michelob ultras were nice and cold. We finished out the dinner w 3 orders of Flan to go . Overall I’d give this place a 4.8 the service was great, food excellent , the prices were good , only thing keeping it from an full 5 stars is we didn’t receive 3 full take out orders of Flan, we got 2 and a small third order , this would have been fine if the server would’ve told us about it, we would’ve ordered something else for the third plate but instead we weren’t told about it , we didn’t find out until we got home , when we called to let them know ,we were told that we were only charged for two which I confirmed but that’s not the point we asked for three and since we didn’t get three, the server should’ve told us that , we told him that we were looking forward to trying it. That’s my only gripe with our experience at this place .Everything else was amazing five stars for...

I took my family here for a Christmas celebration after my daughters last performance in a local play, and it was wonderful. We were a large party of 9 and they immediately accommodated us. Food was wonderful, service was prompt and courteous. The chips and salsa were very good, the salsa had a strong lime note which I loved. I always get something simple when I try a new place, so I went with their #1 combo of a taco, 2 enchiladas, rice and beans, and it was perfect. We opted for desert and tried the tres leche, sopapillas and churros, all were very good. We're looking forward to going back.

My only complaint (no fault of their own) is the bathrooms. My mom is in a wheelchair, the woman's handicap stall was out of order, so I had to bring her in the mens room. Both bathrooms are in very rough shape, the stall in the mens room was barely hanging onto the wall. There are no bathrooms in the restaurant, so these belong to the connected hotel which I've heard some horror stories about, and after seeing the bathrooms, it is...

Finding the restaurant can be a little weird since it’s in the back of the inn and you have to go through the lobby, but it was absolutely worth going. I’ve been trying to find a good torta since coming up north again and this is the best I’ve found so far. It’s not the big as my head style I was getting down south, but the flavor is there. The food prices felt like they’ve managed to beat all the recent inflation for how good the food tasted and everything came out fast. I plan on coming back in the future and hope it continues to be good.

This is by far one of the best options to come to Fulton in a while. My fiancee and I go at least once a month. We are always impressed with everything they have to offer. From the fresh chips and salsa, to the massive portions of food, to the drinks that are bigger than my cereal bowls at home. Everything is amazing, if you are in the area I highly recommend giving it a try. If you order a margarita, pro tip, start small.
