Green Lake Marina — Local services in City of Green Lake

Took a vacation on Green Lake and lost out on the boat we planned on using. On a whim, I checked out Action Marina, and while I had a fair amount of sticker shock at the cost, (perfectly comparable to any boat rental in the area), the crew there made me feel comfortable about my purchase. Turns out they were right! What a fantastic experience! Boat was in great condition, practically brand new, clean as a whistle! I was nervous that we wouldn’t be able to do all the things we wanted in a pontoon, but they assured me that we would be able to ski and do all the water sports we needed behind the 150 horse tritoon! They were right! Best day of our vacation! Docking at the marina while we shopped in town was super awesome too! Definitely recommend...

Action Marina was absolutely WONDERFUL! I found them online and felt that their prices were extremely reasonable, so I made a reservation for a pontoon. The fishing pontoon I was originally hoping to rent was already reserved, but Byron offered to upgrade us to a larger pontoon for the same price! Once we arrived, we were greeted with the MOST friendly staff of any marina I have ever been to. Every single person was kind, knowledgeable and helpful. They explained the lake to us (as this was our first time visiting Green Lake) and helped us get settled into the pontoon and off onto the water. Our family rented a boat from Action Marina. We were told multiple times that we would have the boat until dark by Byron, the owner. It was the reason we went with the company over the many other (less expensive!) boat rentals available. The day we took our boat out we were told the boat was needed back by 5pm, no exceptions. We reminded Byron of what was promised to us but the company no longer would allow us to keep the boat until after dark now that they had our money.

Renters beware- make sure you get any specifications from this company in writing prior to paying them!!! We went over to Sterling Marina and they were nice enough to give us a deal on a boat for the remainder of the night. Give Sterling...
