Primetime Pizza — Local services in City of Lackawanna

Was told 25-30 minute wait for 2 small take out pizzas. Ended up around 35 as I waited there for around 5 more amid an empty restaurant. Not sure what took so long, too quiet to be busy.

The pizza was unimpressive to me, sloppily put together. While some pepperoni were cupped & charred, other pieces seemed undercooked on the one pie. They used jalapeños instead of cherry peppers on the other one. Not sure it’s “real pizzeria” pizza, something was off… maybe they use dough made elsewhere, and or the sauce too. Generic is probably a fair descriptor.

Staff was very friendly, and I’m sorry for a mediocre review. I hope they improve their food and turn it around. I like to support local, but I don’t think they are getting into our pizza rotation with this experience. Unfortunately it soured me to consider trying anything else...

I saw my friends post about this place that opened up and drove all the way from the west side to try it out. I ordered a pepperoni pizza with pineapples on it and I enjoyed it. The pizza I was given is the small size but it’s a bigger portion than other small pizzas, so you’re getting your moneys worth. The pizza wasn’t droopy just based off of that you can tell it is good quality. It also had bubbles on top which shows it was baked well. The best part of it all is that everything is halal and Muslim friendly, I don’t have to worry about my pizza being cross contaminated with haram meats and I felt comfortable while eating. The place also looks beautiful inside Allahuma barik. I ask Allah to increase their rizq and make their business...

I’m Long Island born and bred. I’m a pizza snob. I walked in to this place very eager to see what their story was. Was very pleasantly surprised seeing a familiar face from my past. Waleed was always good to my son and myself with his PHENOMENAL customer service. He hasn’t changed ONE BIT!! NOW … the pizza…. YAAAAAAASSSS!!!! Thin crispy crust, the slice was easily able to fold In half as a slice of pie should be held and eaten. The sauce was slightly sweet I think. It was so good. That slice of pizza was delish!!
